It was terribly easy to fall for Hyunjin.

"There you go! What do you think?"

Felix gasped slightly as he looked at the sketch Hyunjin had just given him. The older had repaired his precious hairpin a few weeks ago and Felix had been overjoyed but, apparently, Hyunjin wasn't quite done surprising him with his craftsmanship. He loved making jewelry, and he'd apparently found a great model and source of inspiration in Felix.

(He sometimes made some pieces for his boyfriends, like an earring or a bracelet, but they weren't the type to wear much jewelry to begin with. So, needless to say, Hyunjin was absolutely overjoyed at having finally found someone willing to wear his creations.)

He'd made a few pieces for Felix already, all of them simple enough, but quite pretty and sturdy, and absolutely fitting his style. One Felix particularly liked was a cute choker with a delicate rose pendant Hyunjin had made from colored glass – he wore it almost every day, much to his friend's delight. Hyunjin had then decided to make him a brand-new hairpin from scratch and, since he wanted it to be absolutely perfect, he decided to involve Felix in the creation process – which was how they ended up looking over the different designs and materials Hyunjin had gathered for them.

And now, they finally had their final design.

"It looks so complicated..." murmured Felix, in awe. "It- it's stunning, but I couldn't possibly ask you to make this for me for free—"

"Nonsense," scoffed Hyunjin, gingerly taking the sketch back. "I already have most of the materials needed for it, and what's left won't cost much. Plus, I love making jewelry, so time isn't an issue."

"But it's—"

Hyunjin flicked his nose, grinning. "No more protests, sweetheart – you're getting that hairpin whether you like or not, so just be an angel and sit tight while I take my measurements, alright?"

Felix flushed a bit at that, falling silent. Even after all this time of knowing Hyunjin, he still hadn't fully gotten used to the pet names. Sometimes, he couldn't help but wonder if the older was blatantly flirting with him, or if it was just part of his extravagant personality – probably a bit of both, though Felix knew he didn't mean anything by it.

Hyunjin hummed a soft tune under his breath as he gently tilted Felix's head left and right to take the measurements he needed. Felix let him work, soothed by the peaceful atmosphere – even if he didn't want to feel like he was taking advantage of his friend's kindness, he couldn't help but relish in his soft touches and gentle care.

He dozed off at some point, too comfortable to even notice until Hyunjin gently cradled his face to make their eyes meet, a soft smile gracing his lips.

"Feeling sleepy, love?"

Felix blinked a few times before registering the question, and he immediately flushed a deep red once again as he leaned out of Hyunjin's grasp, spluttering a bit. Hyunjin simply laughed, endeared, and pulled away. Felix couldn't help but feel a bit disheartened by the sudden distance between them, but he tried his best to ignore it.
