I had made it through my day same as Olivia though at one point today I sat on an interview about the events that had happened yesterday for over an hour while doing my other work.

Instead of going home I sat in the cockpit of Alpha November with Olivia asleep in the passenger seat of the helicopter on our way back towards the Hamptons though even from where I sat fifteen hundred feet in the air I could see the grey and black sixty five thousand square foot house that me and Olivia lived in.

I always seemed to forget how big it really was until coming back to it, even the guest house on the far right side of where the main driveway was, and the guard house on the opposing side of the property were my main house seemed to dwarf everything around it.

Good thing I live in the Hamptons and it's semi normal in scale. Not that I care what people think of me.

Lowering near the water I came in towards the landing pad and set the helicopter gently down before shutting everything down.

As the blades slowed to a stop I turned off the controls before un buckling both me and Olivia before getting out, and walking around to the passenger side before picking her up and closing her door.

Walking along the marble path Olivia had redesigned over this past summer changing certain things with the scenery of the house such as a rock garden on each side of the driveway and on the right side of the house that wrapped around the landing pad and up along the path that led to the sports courts, guest house and gazebo, I made my way to the half lounge half bar area of the house on it's sort of right wing. Though it wasn't really an estate, even if it had some of the qualities.

My only issue was I couldn't take out my phone to unlock the door nor could I get to my key to unlock it either as both were buried in my pocket, so I had to resort to the only other thing I could do even if I didn't want to.

"Olivia" I say and she doesn't stir.

Again I repeat her name getting no response.

"Bellissima you have to wake up" I whisper near her ear and out of the corner of my eye I see her twitch slightly before opening her eyes.

"I don't want to" she protests and I laugh lightly.

"My phone is in my pocket and if I reach for it I'd have to set you on the ground".

"I can stand now if you'd like" she says moving to be back on her own two feet.

"Doesn't appear that I have a choice" I muse catching her eye roll as I unlock the door and slide it open letting us into the black brazilian ebony wood floored house with medium grey walls, and black furnishings along with pricey art dotted around the home.

Walking out of the lounge area into a hallway that passes two guest bedrooms and the breakfast room, that included a cafe beside the dining room with a wine room, the full professional black marble kitchen, and into the living room, each room being large, and open because I had grown up in a medium sized penthouse when younger, and with four people under the same roof it could be hectic so now me and Olivia share a house that could be lived in by all eight people in our friend group.

"I'm tired" Olivia says letting out a yawn as we both walk into the front entryway of the house with it's marble flooring.

"I'm going to stay up for a little bit longer but probably not for very long" I say walking into the kitchen to make myself a drink.

Pulling down a bottle of Lyre's since I don't want to go to bed with strong alcohol in my body I fill the glass with a generous amount of the amber liquid and top up the glass with Coke Cola before walking away towards my chair in the living room to sit and drink with my laptop while reading, a habit I have gotten used to after a stressful day, to just unwind with a book, and a non alcoholic whiskey.

Picking up one of the James Patterson books I so enjoy reading, I sat drinking and read through it finding myself quickly falling into the plot despite having seen these same words at least three or four times but that's the beauty of a good book.

Eventually I stop reading mostly due to my glass being empty, and I wanted to refill it but it was also eleven o'clock at night.

Dog earring my current page, I shut the book, and carried my glass into the kitchen before dumping the remaining ice into the sink, and rinsing out the glass before drying it out to leave on the dish towel that always sat beside my the sink.

I then began making my way upstairs to get undressed and go to bed.

Pushing open the door to the master bedroom which on it's own took up a lot of space mostly because of the private lounge with a sort of old library style to it with the actual sleeping area in the middle of the room and the bathroom to the right with me and Olivia's connected individual closet behind our bed.

Stripping off my clothing I discarded it into my laundry hamper before going to have a shower to wash away my sins of the day, which also seemed to accomplish in ridding me of the last of any tension I might have carried through my day.

Getting out after twenty minutes I dried off, and walked over to my bed where Olivia had already curled up and fallen asleep, Lifting the blanket I got in next to her and covered both of us again before wrapping her in my arms while lying in the normal position we usually end up being in as my eyelids gain weight from fatigue and I fall into a deep sleep.
