He had expected to be completely shattered, the next morning when the alarm clock rang, but weirdly he felt pretty good.
Maybe it was because he had been so tired that he had never even moved a muscle, in the night?
Brett was stirring next to him, turning around and eyeing him in that lovely, mild way he had.
"Hey. How are you?"
To be honest, Eddy was more concerned with how Lily was. Was she throwing up again right now, at her parent's house? And how had they even reacted to the news about the pregnancy? But he smiled at Brett and put his arm around him.
"I'm good. You?"
Brett didn't answer, he just leaned over and kissed him softly. And that did it, suddenly everything inside him that had been put to sleep with all the shock lit up like a christmas tree and he almost threw himself at his love.
"Oh!" he moaned as he kissed him, hard. Somewhere he knew they didn't really have the time for this, but he was a little bit too busy kissing, right now, to process that. He pressed his pelvis against Brett's eagerly and groaned when he felt that he was just the same.
"Eddy, Eddy." Brett warned suddenly. Eddy let him go straight away and tried to catch his breath. Then Brett groaned.
"God, I want to carry on. I want that so bad. But we were late yesterday."
Eddy blinked once, twice. Took a deep breath and managed to get himself under control.
"You're right. We should do this later. I'm sorry."
Brett's eyes flickered. His pelvis moved gently against Eddy's, reminding Eddy very clearly of how he felt.
"Don't be daft." he grunted.
Eddy grinned and got out of bed, got dressed quickly. He needed his head in the game, today.

Head in the game or not, this day was being a struggle, but for an entirely different reason. He tried his best to focus on music theory, on solfege, but his mind kept going back to this morning, back to the passionate kiss, and to the delicious way in which Brett had reminded him he was just as turned on. And every time he thought of it he became more antsy, until he could barely keep it together.
He had walked down to the cafeteria with Ian. Brett wasn't there yet, he had gone to the toilet or something. But as soon as he sat down at their usual table to have lunch Brett plopped down on the chair next to him and put a key on the table.
"Look, I've managed a room." he said. "I want to warm up properly for the rehearsal in a minute. Wanna come?"
Instantly Eddy's heart was in his throat. His eyes shot sideways and searched Brett's face. It was deadpan, of course, but wait, was that a flicker in his eye? Was he planning what Eddy desperately hoped he was planning?
"Yeah, sure. That's a good idea." he said with a shrug, as if it was nothing, nothing at all. His chair scraped over the floor as he moved it back, so loudly he felt like the whole cafeteria could hear it. But Ian and Todd were deep in discussion with some girl he hardly knew, and didn't give them a second glance.

He followed Brett calmly, but he couldn't help his pounding heart. Couldn't help growing, either, until he was grateful for his tight jeans. Still, he took his violin case off his back and held it by the handle in front of him. Brett looked back for a second, and shit, was that a grin? His heart pounded louder and his jeans were quickly becoming very uncomfortable.
The walk seemed to take an eternity. Was Brett thinking the same? Or was he about to be in a super awkward situation, where he was like this and Brett just wanted to warm up like he had said?
Brett opened the door at last to a practise room, right at the end of a hallway. Good. No extra eyes. He walked in after his boyfriend and closed the door, set the violin case on the table.
"Now." Brett said, as his eyes glanced up and down Eddy's body hungrily. "Warming up?"
