"Tell me again what he has to do?" Asks Dec, his face looking totally lost.

I laugh as Mason groans
"It's really not that hard to understand. He has to kick the ball and hit that big football hanging from the goal, it'll fall apart and it's full of coloured powder, which will reveal if the baby is a girl or a boy"

"What happened to just telling people?" Dec asks.

"Cos it's a better party this way!" Dele tells him, smiling.
He wraps an arm around Jasmin, who kisses him on the lips.

Jack hadn't actually invited Dele to Mia's birthday party back in February, but he had turned up anyway with Jasmin.
Turns out a simple "Merry Christmas" Instagram story had inticed Dele into her DM's, where he had stayed and after things had got better again between me and Jack, Jasmin invited him up to attend Mia's party with her, and since then things had got very serious between them very quickly.

Jasmin kisses him on the lips as I get up from the table we are sitting at and wander off looking for Jack in the garden.

I pass Layla whose busy talking to a couple of other guests "want some?" She calls, holding up a wine bottle.

"Hardly!" I laugh

"Chelsea it's non alcoholic! I'll get you some" she goes to find me a glass.

I find Jack with Madders and Ginny playing child's crazy golf with Mia.

Ginny is going mad at Jack for not letting Mia win.
"Nah bro, I'm teachin' her that ya can't always win, maybes ya the betta person to teach her that tho y'get me?"

"No no Jack, she's two! You should be ashamed of yourself, and it's practically cheating anyway cos me and Madders thought we were letting Mia win!"

Jack laughs "nah, I wheren't lettin' her win! She ain't even bothered bro!" He points to Mia who is currently whacking Madders around the head with her golf club.

Jack comes over to me and gives me a kiss, placing his hand protectively over my stomach. "Ya alright?"

"Perfect" I tell him. "Last chance, what you saying? Girl or boy?"

He bites his lip in concentration "hmmm I'm still sayin' boy y'know"

"I think I'm still thinking gitl"

He grins "well we'll find out soon enough" another kiss, deeper this time, I part my lips letting his tongue in to dance around with mine"

I pull away "stop" I stay breathlessly as the tingle starts between my legs.

He chuckles "I fuckin' love how horny bein' pregnant makes ya"

Suddenly we are interrupted by Sian "come on you two! It's nearly time!" She waves us over to where everyone is gathering on the terrace. "Don't suppose you've seen my bloody husband have you?" She adds.

"Yeah I 'ave actually, he was talkin' to Ben in the kitchen" Jack tells her.

"Well they better both get their arses out here" she mutters heading into the house.

It was a complete surprise to everyone when they came back from traveling and announced that they had secretly got married while away.

We gather all together and watch as he walks towards towards the ball.

"No pressure!" Someone calls

"Worse than a cup final penalty this!" He calls back, but he's laughing, looking relaxed.

We watch eagerly as he steps back, then moving forward takes his kick, the ball sails straight to the giant football hanging from the top bar, it smashes on impact sending blue powder and glitter everywhere!
Everyone cheers.

Jack's grip around my waist tightens "see I told ya they were havin' a boy! I knew it"

"Alright alright smarty pants!" I laugh.

We watch as Layla runs, well waddles over to Ben, they are both crying with happiness to be having a son.

Sian, Chris, Jasmin and Dele slink up to us surrounding me, Jack and Mia.

"So are we doing this again in a few weeks for you two?" Asks Chris.

"Nah" Jack starts. "We're takin' Mia to the gender scan, we're gonna ask them to tell Mia first, then Mia can tell us"

The six of us head over to congratulate Layla and Ben as Mia runs off looking to play golf with Madders and Ginny again.

Jack takes my hand "are ya cryin'?" He asks.

"Noooooo"

"Ya are! Ya alright? Ya happy yeah"

We stop just behind the others. I look around, at our daughter who is just absolutely amazing, at our friends who have all found their own happiness, and then at Jack, who is absolutely the root of my happiness.

"I'm just so happy!" I cry.
