How many times have I said that I will never drink again? A million.

How many times have I kept it?

Since the answer to the last question is as it is, obviously not once.

It took me ten minutes to even open my eyes. I don't know what I did yesterday, but I'm sure I hit my head on the wall. At least three hundred times in a row.

I sat up slowly, trying to remember yesterday.

An argument with Francesco about my clothes.

Bar.

He didn't want to drink.

Alcohol appeared before me.

A biting sore throat.

Sick.

Dance.

Alcohol.

Singing.

Alcohol.

Alcohol.

Alcohol.

I'm sure I had alcohol.

99% sure.

I tried to stand up, but it didn't work out for me. I caught my head before collapsing back on the bed. I closed my eyes to soothe my headache.

But when I got up, I also noticed that my leg was not quite right. What did I do last night again?

My gaze fell on the bedside table, where there was a pill and a glass of clear water. A small piece of paper rested on the cup.

I doubt it will help you. But you can try ;)

Ha-ha-ha. Incredibly funny Francesco.

I reached for the pill and drank it with water.

I remembered other moments from yesterday and I would really rather forget them.

I really should stop drinking. I don't like waking up like this anymore. I'm getting old.

Somehow, I got out of the room, down the stairs, to the dining room, where I saw Francesco sitting with a cell phone in his hand and coffee in the other.

Coffee.

I need coffee.

"How are you feeling?" He said without looking at me.

"Can you speak more quietly?" I walked over to him and sat down next to him. I noticed a slight smile on his face.

"I take it I shouldn't have planned things for today." He set his cell phone on the table and looked at me.

"If it involves being in bed all day, I have no problem." I smiled.

"I actually meant carousels. There's one nearby..."
