(a/n: chapter regarding on leeseo's pov and how she ended up in the words)

hyunseo woke up, feeling a bit cold.

she fell asleep in the attic. good thing yujin fixed the place so she can stay in comfortably,

but she realized that it's been almost two hours since they placed her in the attic.

yujin said thirty minutes only,

she frowned,

'maybe they don't like me anymore.' the girl thought to herself.

she pouted slightly then sat up, facing the window.

she quietly walked towards it,

"how am i gonna break this. shit" she whispered to herself

she has to test things herself,

hyunseo herself knew that isolating is just a waste of time.

she needs to know the answer to her question that asks: 'why am i not.. turning? what's happening? why do i feel fine?'

she then saw this screwdriver on the floor so she swiftly picked it up then started inspecting it. she shrugged then was about to smash the window, but she stopped mid-movement,

'what if i alert the others?' she asked herself,

the girl soon shook her head. 'they can't be, they don't care anyway..'

hyunseo closed her eyes before smashing the screw driver into the window,

ignoring the pain on her leg, she hopped out of the window, landing the ground with a heavy thud. "ow.."

it's a small cabin anyway, so it's just a little hop.

it's dark so she regretted her decision in going out.

she sighed, "oh boy.." then started limping to god knows where.

she was walking for a while, trying to shrug of the scary thoughts in her mind,

but then she heard distant growls.

that made her feel scared,

well it soon went away because she remembered that she was bitten and did not turn.

but what she didn't know is, if she got bit again, will she turn?

she rushed to the growling,

after some running, (which is slow running since she's limping) she saw this flesh-eater by the log.

it wasn't looking at her, so she assumed that it didn't see her,

so she went closer,

until she's face to face with it.

the flesh-eater's not showing aggressiveness at all. it doesn't give a damn about the girl in front of it.

whenever it sees her, it just stares.

hyunseo shrugged it off then rolled up her sleeve to her shoulder then closed her eyes, inching her arm closer to its mouth.

but nothing,

no pain, no pressure, no bleeding.

hyunseo opened her eyes then scanned her arm,

no bite marks,,

"huh.." she expressed confusedly then slightly backed away from the flesh-eater.

'what's going on?..'
