"let's get straight to the point," the man spoke. yujin hummed, nodding her head a few times.

"we asked hyunseo a question," yujin was listening intently.

"we asked her to choose wisely. if she wants to save the world, she'll sacrifice herself for us to find a cure for this.. mess. or-"

"wait- wait wait wait. leeseo's immune?"

"who is leeseo?"

"i meant hyunseo, sorry."

"yes. she's immune. me and my wife and her parents had some history but that's not important right now."

"a-and.. you're planning to take her life away?.." yujin asked,

"we did ask her what she wants. you can still have her back if she chose to be selfish. but she chose the other option."

the man sighed,

"yujin-ssi, she can save the world at this rate. aren't you proud of her?"

"you and your friends can bid goodbyes today. we'll start operating on her tomorrow." the man also stood up as he fixed his glasses,

their shock was followed by an intense fire alarm sound,

"what's happening?"

incheon sarang hospital, fourth floor stairs

"HYEWON!"

"shit!" hyewon started wiggling her foot then stepped on this horrifying flesh-eater's face,

hyewon was very fucked at the moment.

"come on, hyewon! hold my hand!" the others were running up the stairs as eunbi and yena stayed with hyewon.

hyewon chased yena's hand then let herself get dragged,

after a matter of seconds, they felt themselves getting wet,

they saw that the water sprinklers from the ceilings were active,

then they saw rei doing something with a switch,

she just activated the fire alarm.

"GO! RUN!"

soon after, they found themselves in a room as yena made hyewon sit on the bed,

"hyewon, buddy, you're okay, alright? you're.." yena stopped talking as soon as she saw a large bite mark on hyewon's foot.

hyewon smiled sadly,  "i'm not okay, yena. this is the end of me." she said as she glanced at her foot.

hyewon stood up as she hissed. her whole foot was numb but she needed to get out of there. fast.
