He stared at me for a good, hot minute, his mouth opening and closing every few seconds like a fish out of water. I gave him a cheeky smile and giggled.
"Is there something you wanted, Beasty?" I asked. He didn't seem to mind me calling him that little nickname and if he did, he never said anything about it.
"I-I would like to take you out on a date this evening. If-If you'll let me." He said, holding a white rose out to me. Despite my heart beating erratically, I had a calm expression.
"Okay. Yeah, I'd like that." I smiled. Something inside me was telling me to go on the date with him, call it a sixth sense or my magic intuition or whatever. I'm glad I did because it would be from then on that I would realize just how well this guy would treat me.
He'd treat me like the princess I am.
