Imam Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"The servant of Allah will not cease to fall into sins, not other than that the sin becomes light and insignificant to his heart - which, verily, is perdition.
For every time a sin becomes small in the eyes of a servant, it surely becomes great in the eyes of Allah."
