The majority of people live as if in inertia, without thinking about either trivial or global matters. Only a few people think about it when they wake up in the morning and open their eyes.
"Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding - [...]"
Sura Āl'Imrān verse 190
But these are the signs of the Creator - waking up every morning, meeting the new day and contemplating His creations. This and similar signs (miracles) of Allah are performed daily. The task of every Muslim is to learn to see and perceive signs of Allah. By learning this, man can realize the true meaning of his life, his existence in the world, and thus come closer to the Creator.
May Allah have mercy on us.
