Imam Ibn al-Jawziyyah رحمه الله said:
"Whoever guards his tongue in this world for the sake of Allah and for the sake of meeting Him, Allah will certainly release his tongue when he utters the testimony of faith before death.
And whoever allows his tongue to slander the honor of Muslims and revile their faults, Allah will prevent his tongue from uttering the creed before death."
