Another chill chapter up ahead. This is the exposition lol

Solus POV

She wiped the poison off her leather gloves and began 'cleaning up' the scene. If she works fast, she might be able to do another job before she had to get to UA.

This job was quick and easy. She had to kill this middle aged man for who-knows-why. She didn't bother to read the request, only who she had to kill, and how to kill them. Shinigami was thorough with her business though, she read the entire message and sometimes made conversation with the clients, depending on her mood. And somehow she still gets the work done.

Well, this job requires her to clean the area of blood but still make it easy to tell that he had been murdered. So she just hauled the body over, made a cut on the leg, and dripped a drop of blood onto a couch cushion.

She grabbed the guy's head and rammed it into the window. She picked up the body with one arm and jumped out the window. After running over a few rooftops, she disposited the man into a landfill. Easy to find if you just look for the clues.

Opening her phone, she checked the next job on her to-do list. Just a few miles from here. Solus could make it if she ran. She had... 10 minutes before she had to get to the school like a normal person by train. Crap. She'll have to sprint.

So she sprinted. As she found her target in the middle of a street, she decided to shoot him. The message just said, 'I want this dude dead' so doesn't matter how she kills him. Bam. Shot in the neck and heart, body drops to the floor. Complete.

So now there's angry heroes following her, and damn, Hawks is fast. She ended up using a smokescreen bomb to get away. She went in a bathroom as soon as he was off his trail and took off her assassin gear, stuffing it in her schoolbag.

She wore her UA guard uniform under her assassin gear to make it more convenient. She took off her red contact lenses and undid her double buns, carefully taking out the needle awls that she stuck in her hair.

Solus made it to the train right on time, plopping down on a seat and promptly passing out from exhaustion until the train stopped.

Just like yesterday, she was not in a good mood.

"DIEEEEEE!"

Solus yawned, spin-whacking Bakugo with her backpack, which probably weighed a ton. He stumbled to a halt.

"Come on. It's way too early in the morning for this."

"It's fucking 8:40."

"Unlike you, I didn't sleep." She turned and walked away. Maybe she shouldn't've stayed up all night murdering people.

"We're going somewhere today, aren't we?" She asked Bakugo, who was walking in front of her for ego reasons. Oop. Vision getting blurry. Looks like that 15 minutes of sleep wasn't effective.

"It's a fucking training camp."

"Oh." Solus pinched the corner of her eye to keep herself awake.

"What's the longest you've stayed up?" He suddenly asked.

"Huh? oh" -She yawned- "A few weeks."

"What? A few weeks?! You're fucking serious?"

"You're a hero student. And a high schooler. And you somehow get 7+ hours of sleep."

"How the fuck do you know that?!"

"People who sleep less have slower blinks and dull eye movement." Saying it out loud just made her blinks slower. She was moving on autopilot. Eh. She's fought off heroes while asleep. It's fine.
