Y/N POV

I ran through the corridors of the station. If I'm being honest, I had little idea where my objective was. Skywalker had managed to slip away, the door he'd gone through was sealed by a blast door and ray shielded over the top of it, so pursuing him was not an option.

Then there was what he'd said about his Padawan. They'd split up so while Skywalker retrieved his droid, they had been tasked with dismantling this station. True, Grievous had been sent to deal with this brat, but frankly, I had little trust in him.

And what's to say it wasn't just them? They could have brought a group of Clones with them. While Grievous was distracted with his grudge against Jedi, they could easily have snuck by and completed their little mission.

It was safe to say, finding out where Skywalker had his escape was the next plan. If the Padawan escaped Grievous, they'd likely meet up there. My thought process got interrupted when my hologram communicator started beeping. Reaching around, I held it up and pushed a button to answer the call.

A blue hologram came up of R3 S6. I sighed with relief, for a moment I thought it would be Grievous either reporting another failure or barking out another order. I asked the Astromech. "What news have you to report R3?"

My Astromech began beeping, again I could just about understand what was being said. "So, Grievous has engaged the child and she's still none the wiser of your involvement. Good, keep it up. Where are you?"

The droid replied, seems the Padawan had run into a nearby storage room with both R3 and Grievous close behind. It wasn't too far from the reactors either. So, she hadn't been too far away when she'd been ambushed either.

I informed R3 "Skywalker managed to retrieve his droid. Inform Grievous that we need to head them off. Find where their ship is located and intercept them there." R3 gave an affirmative beep before the transmission went off.

If anyone was to know where the ship would land, it would be one of the technicians, I began making my way towards the nearest control room...

Grievous POV

I glared down at the R3 droid in front of me, placing a hand on its head before leaning forward and asking "R3, what have you to report?" The droid let out a series of beeps in response telling me everything about Skywalker's little plan.

"So, Skywalker has come for his R2 unit?" I laughed at this, it was just as L/N thought he would. But this played into our hands to an extent. Turning again to our loyal spy, I ordered "Go and make certain they do not escape!"

The droid simply turned and rolled out towards the exit. He knew where the ship would dock so now it was just a matter of finding Skywalker's little rat...

Y/N POV

The door opened up to reveal one of the many control rooms. I instantly approached one of the technicians who's head snapped in my direction. I instructed "Run a scan of each of the hangars on this station, I want a list of every ship that is present or either comes or leaves. Is that clear?"

The Aqualish grunted and nodded in response before bringing up various screens, each one showed camera footage of each of the hangars. Most of them looked unsuspecting to say the least, just stationary vulture droids, I could see both mine and Grievous' starfighters in their respective hangars as well as the shuttle I'd planned to place Skywalker's Astromech aboard.

One though, caught my attention. A figure ran into one of the empty hangars. I pointed and said "Focus on that one." The Technician grunted and brought that one camera to cover the hole screen.

Skywalker AND his droid were both visible coming through one of the doors. Shortly afterwards, a ship flew into the hangar, I recognized it as that same freighter that I'd seen when Skywalker escaped from the Malevolence. So, that was their escape.

I made note of the hangar number before turning around and held up my hologram communicator. I inputted a few buttons and waited for a second, soon Grievous' angry voice could be heard asking "What is it?"

"I have eyes on Skywalker and his droid, they're at hangar three. It seems their extraction ship has arrived." To that, Grievous began to let out a laugh. I raised an eyebrow in confusion but my answer soon came.

"Skywalker won't leave without his little pet. And she won't be escaping from here anytime soon. I have ordered that droid of yours to prevent their escape." I nodded, before another thought crossed my mind.

"Once you've disposed of the Padawan, check the reactor room. I don't want to take any chances." To that Grievous simply scoffed before saying "Those Clones won't be of any trouble. I dealt with them straight away."

I remained silent for a moment before saying "Very well General. I'm leaving the Padawan to you. Do NOT fail this!" The last part of that sentence I said with a look of anger. The General just made an annoyed growl before hanging up.

My attention turned to the monitor. Now it was R3's turn to make his move...

Author's Note: And that's it for this chapter, again I don't know if the next chapter will be the last one or whether there'll be another. I will say that it will mostly take place from R3's POV. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and as always, thank you for reading.
