Just as things seemed to be going our way, the large doors to the factory opened up. Out of it rolled a convoy of vehicles not like anything I'd seen the Separatists use up to now. They looked large, cumbersome. Master Luminara stated "Look like the Separatists have a new toy."

As the convoy rolled closer, I turned to Rex ordering for him to "Pick your targets!" With a gesture of his hand and a spoken order, the heavy cannons all raised up in the direction of the tanks. We waited for a moment for the tanks to be close enough before Rex ordered "Fire!"
The cannons did just that, giving the tanks an absolute hammering! The barrage was kept up for a good few seconds, firing shell after shell that hit the targets head-on causing a cloud of dust and sand to blow up around them.
Surprisingly though, even THAT wasn't enough as the tanks just came rolling right through without so much as a DENT! Rex commented "Sir, nothing could withstand that!" I pointed out "They must be ray-shielded."
With that, there was only one option. RUN! We quickly fell back and ducked behind cover. And it was now that our one glimmer of hope came through, the beacon on my communicator went off. Ahsoka had done her part.
"We might have a chance. The bombs are active!" Master Luminara smiled "The Padawans did it." I responded "And just in time!" Our attention turned back to the enemy tanks just to see their outer shell roll back to reveal cannons.
A series of rockets were shot out, I barely managed to warn "Get down!" We weren't the target right away though, the rockets struck the cannons blowing them all up in an instant. Without even a moment to recover, another barrage was fired.
This time, aiming directly at our walkers. They went the same way as the cannons. At this rate, we were losing everything that could give us any sort of edge. We had to rush back to the Clones quickly where I gave the order "Rex! Tell the men to fall back!"
Rex at first rejected the idea "Sir, you can't be asking us to turn tail and run!" I revealed my plan. "I'm not asking you to run. I want to draw those tanks out onto the bridge!" Master Luminara caught on "I see what you have in mind." I simply assured "I always come prepared Master. Lets go!"
Now we split up again. Rex had the job of distracting the tanks and drawing them out. Meanwhile, me and Master Luminara would blow the bridge and sent those tanks down into the abyss where they belong!
The Clones did exactly that and the tanks fell close behind. Just as I'd hoped they would. We waited for a right moment before I gave the gesture to Luminara to strike, she gave a nod and we began putting our plans into action.
The tanks were in the perfect position, and fully focussed on the Clones so they didn't notice us slipping under the bridge at either side. Once we'd gotten underneath we had to climb around on the surface, slowly attaching the detonators to the underside.
With any luck, once these blew, the bridge would be done-for and those Tanks along with them. One by one, the charges were places and once all of them had been planted, we leapt up onto the bridge and ran over to the other side of it, behind the tank.
Once outside of the blast radius, I held up the remote detonator and with the push of a button. The charges each exploded. I was just glad we had enough as the combined force of the blast completely blew a chunk of the bridge. And as was the plan, the tanks each began to fall! Taking them out for good!
This earned a cheer of triumph from the Clones however we weren't in the clear yet. I looked down at my timer and asked "Where are they?! Those bombs are gonna go off any second now!" I swapped to my communicator as I asked "Rex, any sign of Ahsoka and Barriss on your side?"
Rex answered "No sir, but this place is getting ready to blow. The evacuation ships are arriving, I suggest you get on one!" At this I snapped "Not without Ahsoka!" Now it was Luminara who assured me "My Padawan will not fail."
Retuning my communicator I began speaking "Ahsoka, can you hear me? Ahsoka where are you?!" As if timed perfectly, the factory doors opened once more and we were met with waves of Battle Droids approaching.
Both me and Luminara ignited our lightsabers and engaged. We carved our way through the seemingly endless waves of droids until suddenly, a gigantic explosion erupted from the factory! This was followed by a chain of smaller explosions that shook the ground, one of the spires collapsed and tipped over, crushing the remaining droids under it.
A cloud of dust sprayed out from all sides, completely engulfing us for a time. When the dust settled and our clear sight returned, we were met with the burning remains of the factory. A clear sign of our victory. I wasn't happy though.
Ahsoka was somewhere among that wreckage, and I was going to find her!
Luminara POV
Looking at the charred remains of the droid factory, I could tell Skywalker was distressed. He was worried for his Padawan. I was concerned for Barriss as well, but if this was it be her end, then it was the will of the Force. I couldn't change that.
My focus though, was on the whereabouts of Poggle the Lesser and Y/N L/N. I knew they'd both be inside the factory. However it's unlikely they would be dead along with it. Where were they? It was important they be found.
The factory was destroyed, but this battle wasn't over yet...
Author's Note: And that's it for this chapter. I decided to do Anakin's POV first since it literally just shows the Super Tank in action. The next one will be Y/N's POV during the events of this chapter and will feature our second lightsaber fight of this arc, after that we'll be on the final stretch of this book, 'Legacy of Terror'.
