I dive into her subconcious, which leads me to absolutely terrifying memories of hers.
I walk around, searching for her. I watch as she is beaten senseless by that pitiful excuse for an ex-boyfriend of hers. It pisses me off, but I keep going, knowing I must find her.
I try to think about where she would be. Where would I go if I were Elizabeth? I continue walking around, finding myself in a home which I do not recognize. There are school photos of Elizabeth hanging up, so I assume that this is her home in Mystic Falls. I see her sobbing over her dead parents' bodies, screaming bloody murder. I look around, but I don't see the real Elizabeth anywhere.
I move on, searching for the girl, but she is nowhere to be found. I look through every single memory I can, but she is simply nowhere. Suddenly, I'm back in the room with Freya, still holding onto my one true love.
"What just happened?" Freya asks, looking at me with fear in her eyes.
"I think she just threw me out of the head dive. Can she do that?" I ask, frantic. This has never happened before while I was doing a head dive. Not once in the one thousand years I have lived have I ever been thrown out mid head dive.
"I don't know, I've never seen anyone manage. But she is extremely powerful, so we mustn't rule it out." Freya replies, looking just as frantic and afraid as I imagine I do.
"I'm going to try again." I say before I go right back into Elizabeth's head, not even giving Freya a moment to respond. Immediately, though, I'm thrown out again.
"Hold on, Kol. Listen closely." Freya says, and I'm absolutely amazed..
