We had some old-fashioned formal at our school where all the girls dance with the guys like the did way back, and I wanted to dance with y/n more then anything.

But she was paired with my stupid brother, Lo'ak.

"Lo'ak!" she laughed as he stepped on her feet, I sat on the bleachers as everyone in the gym was practicing for this stupid thing. The annoying part was there wasnt enough girls for everyone.

So I had to go solo, Tsireya who I think Lo'ak liked wasn't here today so I knew she would most likely be my partner... Unless we swapped partners!! And then I could be with her...

"Lo'ak!" I yelled as him and y/n walked up to me, she smiled at me as I smiled back before grabbing Lo'ak and dragging him away from her, she stood there until she sat at the bottom off the bleachers.

She had no right to be this beautiful.

"Lo'ak I know you like reya! And you know I like Y/n.. So I only think it's fair if you let me and y/n be partners so then you can be partners with Tsireya!" I said with a smile as his pupils dilated.

"Yes! Thank you bro!" he laughed as he pulled me into a 'bro' hug and ran off over to Y/n before he began to tall to her, she opened her mouth in a 'oh' as she nodded before smiling.

She stood up and walked over to me, she was so short haha-

"Neteyam?? Are you alive!!" she clicked her fingers in front of my face as I snapped out of it and nodded as she laughed a little before grabbing my hand and running over to the middle of the gym.

She smiled at me softly, the way she looked at me melted me, she was a-

"Neteyam! Wake up!" she laughed as I snapped out of it, she was so beautiful that I couldn't even focus. I smiled and placed my hand on her waist as she straightened her back.

"Your hand isn't in the right position, relax your body teyam." she spoke as I looked down at her with a smile on my lips, I nodded as she grabbed my hand and placed it properly just behind her shoulder a bit behind her back.

Her hand went over my shoulder as our two hands connected pointing out.

"Good job!" she smiled as I blushed slightly, and nodded before I began swaying side to side acting as if I totally hadn't been up all last night studying on ballroom dancing.

"Your so good!" she laughed as I smiled before I spun her and then pulled her back to me collapsing her back on my chest as she looked up at me, I was weak, she was weak.

"Everyone practice is up! It's break time and after break you all have science!!" the teacher spoke as Y/n moved away and placed her hands on my shoulders as mine went on her waist, each side.

"one last dance, love?" I spoke with a smitk as she blushed a little before nodding.

I walked into the ballroom, everyone was in huge puffy dresses meanwhile I was in a suit, I looked around for her but couldn't seem to find her anywhere, where was she?

What if she had decided to not come realising I wasn't good enough, I sighed before sitting at a fancy old table and grabbing a glass of wine, after all. This was basically our prom and we were all eighteen now.

"There you are!" a happy voice spoke as I turned around and gasped, she looked down at herself and back up at me as she smiled.

"Did I over do it?" she asked as she did a little spin, it was a black dress with diamonds all over it, there was no spaghetti straps of anything like that, it showed a bit of her chest as well.

"You are beautiful." I spoke as I grabbed her hand and kissed it softly before she jokingly bowed causing me to chuckle before putting my arm behind her back and resting it on her waist as we began to walk over to the ballroom floor.

"Tsireya has got everyones eyes on her, I wish I was pretty like her." she spoke as she sighed, I looked over to Tsireya, She was wearing a bright red dress with the sleeves resting on her arms as diamonds were on the top chest part of it.

"Y/n, my eyes are on you." I spoke as she snatched her head from Tsireya before looking up at me and blushing, I smiled at her and began to sway her side to side before she wrapped her hands around my neck, mine around her waist.

"Everyone's drooling over her! She has everyone all lovey eyes for her! I hate being the ignored and hated sister no one ever chooses me-"

"Y/n. I chose you, that's why I swapped partners with Lo'ak. So I could finally have you. All to myself." I spoke as she smiled and tilted her head to the side causing me to blush.

She was so cute.

"Thank you tey tey." she teased knowing I hated when people called me that, But I didn't hate when she called me it, she was different.

"You know.. Tsireya has never been the sister I loved. You've been the one, ever since me and my family moved here and I saw you ss my next door neighbour I knew, you were the one. And here I am confessing my love for you, I mean I'm ridiculous look at what I'm wearing! I wouldn't wear this and come here today if you didn't move next door. What I'm saying is I'm in love with you! Everything about you, your eyes, your lips, that beautiful laugh, your humour and everything else. I love all of you." I spoke as I realised what I had said.

"This dress takes some time to take off neteyam.."
