The sound of stupid videos filled the room as Jocelyn watched TikTok's on my phone with me. Occasionally, earning a laugh from both of us so I'd send it to her account to make her laugh at it again later.

A girl complaining about her boyfriend's video games came up next and she sleepily sent me a pointed look, "Mhm.. she so right. Y'all be doin too much on that game." She mumbled and I rolled my eyes, "I barely be on it." I lie smoothly and she bites my chest gently.

"Baby, go head and sleep." I shake my head as she struggled to lift her head to only shake it and plop it back down on my chest, "No." she snapped softly and I knew she was three seconds from being cranky.

I put my phone on the dresser before clicking off my lamp, making her whine in protest, "Noooo! Don't put it.." She didnt even have enough energy to finish her whine as she yawned softly. I let my hand rub her back, knowing her weak point. Just as expected, her body relaxed against mine and the sound of her soft snoring filled the space between us. I chuckled softly as I pressed a kiss to her head.

Despite our very intense activity earlier, I couldn't make myself sleep. My mind kept running back to our short conversation in the car.

"Just my best friends, I think." Her voice was sure as I looked over to her smiling face, "They as bad as Tasha? If so, imma need them two rows back." I watched her laugh and quickly shake her head, "Nope! My parents wont be there so they're gonna be in the front so they can scream when we kiss. And pass me tissues when we say our vows!" Her smile was there but I can tell she was a little bothered as it didn't even meet her eyes.

I didn't even consider our parents, in all honesty. I was so wrapped up in our little world that I realized she hadn't even met my mama yet.

I held back from smackin my forehead at myself, "Proposed and got her pregnant.. she ain't even meet your ma." My thoughts tore into me but I let it go quickly. It's not like I can reverse time and if I could, I still wouldn't.

My hand rubbed her stomach gently, she was barely showing just as she wanted so I would leave the news of telling my mother up to Lyn.

The softness of her body had to be one of her best features. I couldn't help but feed and spoil Lyn every day. She cursed me out the other day for getting too much take out since it made her gain weight but I loved every pound she put on.

Her figure just grew curvier and that smile on her face every time she was satisfied made my heart swell. Plus, my son needed nutrients to grow and be as strong as me. I had to give him a good chance to get my height. My son not finna be nobody bench warmer.

The idea made me frown but I ignored it as Jocelyn mumbled and turned away, "Hot.. move." She rudely rolled off my chest onto the cold sheets to be alone. I laughed softly as she hummed in satisfaction.

I still couldn't help reaching over and letting my hand play with her butt as she snored softly, "My fault, baby." I laughed softly as she hummed in reply, barely caring about anything but her sweet dreams.

Part of me held a lot of anger for her especially about her past. After she told me how her parents knew of her abusive relationship and didn't do anything, I knew I wasn't going to allow her to even look at them again. I'd move us across the world if that meant they would never see her again.

I gently rubbed her thigh as I watched her sleep. It still confuses me how anyone could raise their hands to hit her. She was beyond sweet and soft towards everyone we met to the point where it's impossible for anyone not to like her.

I couldn't help but give her a side eye, "They be likin you too much." I mumbled softly and only got a snore in response.

My phone buzzed softly on the nightstand, making me sigh softly as I reached over to check my notifications.
