I tried to focus on my schoolwork. But I couldn't stop staring at Storm. I looked up at her. She sat in front of me so all I could see was the back of her head.

It didn't help that her delicious scent filled me with such giddiness. I couldn't get our last confrontation out of my head.

I tried to talk to her the other day but she shot me down. I was actually surprised. Usually, any girl would be completely wet merely by my presence.

But Storm? No. She's just so cold....I love that. As soon as the bell rung, I let out a sign of relief. I headed out the door and met up with Drew.

We headed on to class. We met up with Lucille in the hall. The three of us walked to our next class and sat down in the back. "Final class of the day," Lucille mutters.

I blew a breath. "Thank God. I'm tired. If I cram one more educational thing into my brain, it might explode," I say. Then I caught a whiff of vanilla.

I snapped my head up to see Storm enter the room.
Bailey followed closely behind her. I stared at Storm. Why do I feel like I've see her somewhere else?

Bailey and Storm sat at a table across from us. When Storm swung her hair around, her scent hit me hella hard. Jeeeesus. She smells so good.

I tensed up as Storm reached down to pick up her bag. She rummaged through it for a pencil and notebook. I couldn't help but stare.

She seemed to ignore me or at least she didn't notice my presence. The teacher began class and started talking about some project we needed to work on.

Turns out we had an upcoming project in about few weeks and we needed the books to study. So he took us to the library. "Projects already? Man come on," Drew mutters, irritably.

We found a table in the huge library. I couldn't help but glance at Storm occasionally as she & Bailey sat a few tables across the room from us.

I guess Lucille noticed me staring because she spoke up about sitting with Storm & Bailey. "We should go over and talk to them," Lucille suggests.

Me & Drew both snapped our heads up at her. "Okay who are you and what have you done with Lucille? Cause Lucille wouldn't say that," Drew says.

"Exactly," I say. Lucille rolled her eyes.

"Guys I'm serious," She says.

"Okay Lucille. I know you're only being nice to her because she checked you and embarrassed you in the halls last week," I say. Lucille shook her head.

"No I'm genuinely being nice to her," She says. Me and Drew both stared at her. "No really guys. No one has ever told me off like that. Or even layed a hand on me. I mean I'm so used to walking all over people and for once, someone actually stood up to me. Maybe there's something about this chick who reminds me of myself," She adds.

"How does she remind you of yourself?" Drew asks, curiously.

"She has a certain vibe to her. A leader. She seems like the type of person who gets what she wants whenever she wants. I respect that. Plus, I learned from the principal that she's new in town and apparently the principal has taken a interest in her," Lucille replies.

"So you wanna get to know her?" I ask. She nodded. I scanned her face for any hint of her lying. Then I looked at Drew. "She's dead serious," I note.
