Storm's POV:
⚠️18+ In This Chapter⚠️
Everyone clapped as the group walked off stage. Principal Garcia walked onstage. Her now very visible pregnant belly stuck out in her dress.
She grabbed the microphone. "Thank you so much for that lovely presentation. Up next we have: Storm Starlight, Bailey Henderson, Lucille Bridgers, Drew Robbins, Cain Garcia, and Cyrus Emerson," She announces.
Everyone in the stadium clapped as we made our way on stage. Dad, Brooklyn, and Nigel all cheered louder than everyone else. I was nervously walked up onto the stage.
I looked around. Bailey grinned at me. She pointed up. I looked up to see my Mom. She smiled down at me. I grinned. Principal Garcia cleared her throat.
"Okay, so what did you guys learn this year at United Academy?" She questions. We all pulled out our posters and were handed our own microphones.
"I learned that everyone should get along, no matter our background, magical being or mutant. At the end of the day, we're all protecting the Magic secret," Bailey says.
She held up her poster of her and Drew. She revealed that she's dating Drew. Her Dads and surrogate Mom stared at her. Her surrogate Mom cheered for her while her Dads just stared at her.
"I learned that I shouldn't hide anything from the people I love. If they really care about me, they'll listen. And they'll help me, regardless how many times we've been at each other's throats or how long we've been away from each other," Drew says.
He looked at Cyrus. Cyrus smiled at him. Drew held up a poster of him and Cyrus helping Drew's Mom while she was in the hospital recovering from Vinnie's attacks.
"I learned that me creating drama purely for my amusement is lame. That fighting with someone who's not worth it is not right. Knowing that someone is not at your level and you continue to pick at them, that doesn't make you cool. That makes you a bully," Cain says.
Aww Cain. I grinned. I looked at Cyrus. He wasn't smiling. Cain held up a poster of him and Cyrus shaking hands and working on the project together.
"I learned that I shouldn't rely on others to get something done for me. I shouldn't rely on someone else to make a move or make a decision on something we both agreed on when I could just do it myself. So be a leader and do shit yourself," Lucille says.
Okay weird. She held up a poster of her with her holding a necklace that looks awfully similar to the one Cyrus gave me. Lucille was throwing it into the trash in the picture.
I looked at Cyrus. He was staring at her. Then his expression changed when the camera was on him.
"I learned a lot about myself. I learned that I need to be more patient with people and not give everyone a reaction just because I don't get along with them. I need to learn to walk away from situations and not fight," Cyrus says.
He held up a poster of him and Cain. It was a screenshot of them fighting. One from the fight video and another screenshot from another fight they got into.
Both show Cyrus on top and punching Cain. Then another picture showed Cyrus with his back turned to Cain while Cain was yelling behind him.
He is so freakin petty. Then it was my turn. The camera turned to me. All eyes were on me. I looked around at all the sea of faces in the stadium.
