'We can help you, Jimin. All of us.'

Only now did I notice those guys around. They're looking at us, at me, in a way that makes it seem like I'm a wounded animal, not a person who tried to kill them all.

'Just ask whatever you want to know.' The guy who I think is the leader spoke up, having the rest of them nod at his words

'There's a room. A room with blood everywhere. There's a chair...' I tried to explain what I saw in my dream. 'And you are in that chair. I have the same dream on repeat.' I turned to her

She only smiled a little, nodding at me. 'Do you want to see the room?'

'That happened?' I am not completely crazy. It wasn't a dream

'Yes. That's how you gave me these.' She shows her wrists

'I... did I torture you?' I gulped a little

She didn't need to answer. It was obvious on her face.
'Come with me. I'll show you.'

Following after her, she went through a dark hallway downstairs, walking through some red doors.

'It's safe. I promise.' She smiled and offered her hand

I looked at it for a moment before reluctantly taking it, but the moment I did, I felt so much calmer. Like a switch.

She walked slowly, without dragging me, as I kept looking around.

'You used to beat the shit out of me in that ring.' She chuckled, pointing at the boxing ring that I was looking at as we walked past it

'And that's where you taught me how to throw knives.' She smiled, stopping at a doorway of the room that was open and had a metal table in the middle, with a dummy doll at the end of the room. Practice dummy. The wall on the left had a crazy number of knives and katanas.

'I taught you how to throw knives?' I never taught anyone that. Only myself.

'Yes. You said it made you want to cry how bad I was.' She giggled a little to herself. That giggle... it's her that I hear giggling in my dreams.

'But this is not where it is.' She referred to the room we spoke about and squeezed my hand a little, reminding me that she's holding me still

I saw metal doors in front of me, and that same feeling of dread filled me up. This room scares me. I took a little step back, feeling my head buzz, like it does before it hurts.

'Jimin, are you okay?' She noticed it and stepped in front of me, letting go of my hand. 'Hey, hey. Look at me.' Her hands were on both sides of my face, gently caressing my jawline. 'Breathe. Just keep breathing.'

I didn't want to push her away. I didn't have a reason to. This is comforting. And it's helping me.

'That's it. Just breathe. I'm right here with you. I promise.' She's still not letting go, looking into my eyes with hers being full of worry

'I'm okay. I'm alright.' I exhaled, pulling her hands away from my face

'Oh, I'm sorry.' She seemed heartbroken watching me pull her away from me. Her hands curled into tight fists, and she barely whispered the words

Seeing her like this actually makes me feel guilty. Sad even.

'Can- can I see it?' I ask her quietly, looking at the door behind her

'Of course. Go on.' She nodded, opening the door for me

As soon as those metal doors creaked open, my heart felt like it dropped. Walking inside, all the walls are just like they were in my mind. Even the smell of the room is the same. The stench of stale blood and dirt.

But what got to me the most was the chair. There are ropes hanging off the corners of arm rests. Bloody ropes. The chair is covered in blood that had been here for so long that it looks like dried up paint. The floor underneath the chair where the blood dripped is stained to the point that it looks like a maroon carpet.

I looked at her, and she was looking at the same chair as I did, lightly touching her right wrist.

'What have I done?' It must have been awful. If all of this is her blood, then I'm not even sure how she's alive.

'A few hours of torture.' She answers calmly. 'My wrists. My ribs. My legs. A few over my arms. Nothing major.' The smile she gave me said it was anything but that. It sounds like I almost killed her

'Why? Why would I do that? You're my wife, aren't you? Why would I do that?' I can't believe the words coming out of my mouth, but everything points to it being the truth

'Because I betrayed you. I hid a lot of things from you, and you found out. And we were not married back then. We only got married about a month ago.'

I've got even more questions now.

'I see your brain is working a lot. But don't worry. I will tell you everything. Bit by bit.' She nods

'Tell me, what did you hide from me that was so bad that I did this?' At this point, I'll beg for answers

'Do you want to go upstairs to our- your room? I think the place will be more comfortable to talk in.' She said our room

'Do you... do you sleep in that room, too?' I mumble

She nodded, blinking a few times to set back her tears that were turning her eyes glossy. 'Yes. Especially since you've been gone.' Her voice is a bit choked up

I wanted to ask why I left, but I should probably wait until we're up there. She said she'd tell me everything.

'Let's go there.' I nod

'Okay.' She smiled a little

I followed after her quietly as she took me to my room. Our room. Whatever the hell it is.
I passed by the guys on the way, and a few of them even smiled a little at me, which was unexpected. I only looked away. What am I supposed to do with that?

'You don't have to stand there. Come and sit with me. It's your bed, after all.'

I had no reason to stay so far back, so I slowly went around the other side, sitting next to her on the bed.

'Before I start explaining it all, I have to tell you something completely insane.' She warned me

I nodded, telling her to continue. It can't be crazier than having dreams of a life that's mine but I can't seem to remember.

'Everything you know right now, your life, family, everything... it's possible that none of it is real.'

She was just looking at me, waiting for a reaction. But I need to listen to her. I kind of believe her. Nothing makes sense.

'Okay. I'll start slowly. Stop me anytime.'
