{Poppy's outfit}

"Guys have no idea that natural beauty takes such hard work." Poppy shook her head as she, DJ and Becky sat on DJ's bed painting their nails.

"Well, some guys do." Becky chuckles, smiling in amusement. "This morning, Jesse spent 47 minutes in the bathroom fixing his hair." Becky told the two teenagers. "He sprayed it, he moussed it, he gelled it, I think he even used my hot rollers."

DJ then looked down at her watch. "Poppy, we gotta go in ten minutes." DJ widens her eyes as she tried to blow her nails dry.

Poppy quickly attempted to blow her nails dry too.

"Wait." Becky held her hand up. "I have a better idea." Becky then grabbed the hairdryer and pointed it down at DJ and Poppy's hands.

"Oh, you're a genius. This works out great." DJ nodded.

Kimmy then entered the bedroom. "Deej, Poppy, you guys must have really hairy hands."

"Kimmy, it's for mine and Poppy's nail polish." DJ clarified.

"You know, my mom said when I turn 15 she's gonna let me have acrylics." Poppy excitedly beamed. "And I'm nearly 15, so I can't wait."

DJ looked over at her best friend. "Is everything set up for tonight?"

"Are you sure we should talk about this in front of the A-D-U-L-T?" Kimmy spelled out.

Becky tutted. "At times like this I sure wish I knew how to spell." Becky sarcastically commented.

Poppy laughed. "Kimmy, it's fine. We can trust Becky."

DJ nodded in agreement. "Yeah, Aunt Becky is like my big sister."

"You can tell me anything." Becky insisted.

Kimmy took a seat on DJ's bed. "Okay. Here's the plan." Kimmy cleared her throat. "I start babysitting at 7 o'clock. I'll have the kid in bed by 7:02."

"Perfect." Poppy smirked. "And the guys are coming at 7:10."

"See, Aunt Becky, there's this really cute guy named Ryan in my biology class and we share the same microscope." DJ begins to explain the situation to her aunt.

"They met over a drop of pond scum." Kimmy dreamily states.

"How romantic." Poppy teases.

"Well, it gets better. I invited Ryan over to study with finals for us. He's even bringing a friend for Kimmy. And Marcus will be there for Poppy." DJ finished explaining.

Poppy flicked her hair once her painted nails had dried. "I can't wait."

Becky bit her lip. "Uh, Deej, Poppy, how do your dads feel about you inviting boys over to a house without any adults?"
