I slightly massaged my temple because it's hurting so much right now. I need to go back to work because I've been neglecting all my meetings and paper works.

I know I'm wealthy(modesty aside) enough to not work anymore but I still have a lot of plans in the near future.

"Clems, bukas na makakalabas ng hospital ang kapatid ni Martinez." Paalala ni Beau sa akin. Andito ito ngayon dahil inatasan ko itong gawin ang isang paper works sa hospital na binigay ko sa kanya.

"Are you sure that she is well enough to go home? I don't want my student to get worried and collapsed again, Beau." Seryosong tanong ko dito habang nasa laptop parin nakatuon.

"I also check her, Clems and I'm a hundred one percent that she's ready to go home and I think they're going to stay for awhile at their friends house until further notice."

"Alright. Make sure they don't pay even a cent."

"Delos Santos and Rodriguez family wanted to pay but I told them that it's already settled."

Napatango ako. "Good, good."

I promise Gwen that I'm going to take care of everything and I'm not breaking any of it.

MONDAY came and here I am right now in my office with Gwen. I called her after my class with them.

"Miss Cromwell maraming-maraming salamat po talaga sa lahat, hindi ko po alam kung paano ko po kayo mababayaran sa lahat ng naitulong mo sa akin." Nakayukong pagpapasalamat nito.

Napansin ko na parang mas lalong nabawasan ang timbang nito at mahahata na rin ang eyebags nito. Binigay ba ng doctor ang lahat ng gamot na binili ko para sa kanya?

"Uh.. Miss Cromwell?"

I was back in trance when Gwen suddenly cleared her throat. I didn't know that I was spacing out already.

"It's alright, Martinez, ginawa ko lang ang nakakabuti sa aking studyante... mga studyante." Sagot ko. "And you don't need to pay me back, it is the school who help you with your bills, not me."

Marahan itong napatango saka nahihiyang napakamot sa sentido nito.

"Maraming salamat po ulit at patawad po kung binalak kong italo ang laro."

"Don't be sorry, it wasn't your fault. Even if you did lose the game, please know that it wasn't your fault. Someone took advantage of your situation and if I were in your shoes I would also took the deal."

I immediately pinched my legs when she suddenly bit her lower. Why is she cute while doing that?

I cleared my throat. "Please next time, huwag ka munang magpadalos-dalos sa desisyon mo, andito naman ako, I mean kaming mga professor like, Miss Griffin and Miss Kim na handang tumulong sayo." I said emphasizing my friends name dahil baka sa ibang professor ito lumapit, hindi pa naman kapani-paniwala ang ibang mga nagtuturo dito.

She nodded. "Opo, Miss Cromwell."

"Alright. How are you feeling now? Did you take all the vitamins that the doctor gave you?" I asked.

Marahan itong tumango saka napalabi. "Opo... kahit ang pait ng lasa." Sagot nito.

Mapait?

Maybe I should make a medicine that's not too bitter for her. I mentally noted.

"I see, I'll do something about it." I mumbled almost audibly.

"Po?"

"Nothing, you may go now." I said instead.
