Many months passed, each day feeling slighly more normal.I still flinched when I heard loud mechanical voices from speakers, I still had nightmares from time to time about everything that had happened to me, In the back of my mind there was still the feeling that it was all going to happen again. I had been seeing a psychologist called Archie Hopper who was helping me deal with the trauma. I've also done some more normal teenage girl things like been on a few dates, cried over homework, gossiped with my friends.

Everyone has a mental image of what a normal teenager is like. I think everyone expects teenagers to write diaries, have sleepovers with pillow fights, talk about their crushes with their friends, and have a huge nail varnish collection. I didn't exactly fit this image, but I was no longer the lonely girl who had been tortured and had an insanely dysfunctional family. I thought my life was heading in a direction I was happy with, until I received a text from an unknow number.
