Meeting My Granparents

RECAP: My mom gets up and walks over to the door. She opens it and there stands a man about 42 with dreads in his head and he had broad shoulders. My mom looks at me then back at him. I was so confused I didn't know what to say.

 

"Dad?" my mom says breaking the silence. He nods. She literally jumps into his arms. "Where's mom?" she ask. "Your mom went to the house, I decided to come by here and see you" he says. She gets the hugest grin. She then gets out the embrace and comes over to me. "Dad this is Hazel...my daughter" she says. He gets buck eyed. "Im a grandfather?" he ask. She nods. He looks at me. "Hello sweet pea..call me Grandpa Nasa" he says reaching his arms out. I quickly react and hug him he smells like expensive cologne. "So Dezmond are you going to show me around?" he ask my mom. She grabs his arm and they link up. I take a quick glance and they look alike, my mom had the same green and brown eyes he has, and I can tell were she gets the hair from. They start off on the tour and I go back to the bean bag. I was getting bored but I was glad to see my mom happy. I called up Vanessa and told her about the sweet 16 party. She told me she was posting it on Facebook, twitter, instagram and she said she was going to make flyers for school. I told her to go ahead and I hung up. My mom came back around and compared to my granddad she looked short. He looked about 6'9. I could tell he had some tattoo's too. I got up and he looked at. "You and Kasen made this beautiful girl?" he says to my mom. She nods. "How old are you?" he ask. "Im 15 I will be 16 tomorrow" I say. "She shared a birthday with Kasen?" he ask. My mom nods and says "That's why she so spoiled they born on the same day" she says. I laugh. "Well I will get you something" he says. I just nod. "You two ready to go?" my mom ask. I nod and my granddad says yes. When we got outside he looked at my moms car. "Im glad to see you living the dream baby girl" he says to her. She gives a shy thanks and we get in. She puts on the radio and 2chainz is playing. She quickly changes it but my granddad changes it back and starts to rap it. "Im 47 years old im not that old" he says. I look at him he looks a little younger then 47. I push it off and my mom starts the car. We drive off in a awkward silence.

We pulled up to the house and we got out. We were halfway to the door when a lady came out saying my moms name. My mom fast walked over since she was in heels and hugged her. "Momma meet Hazel, Hazel this is your grandma" she says. I walk over and I see were my mom gets the big butt from. She grabs me into a tight hug. "Call me Grandma Lisa" she says. I nod then she lets me go. "Well Dezmond I see your using the height, and butt you have to you advantages" my grandma says. My mom blushes. "You guys want me to cook or we can go out" my mom says. "Lets go out" I say. Everybody agrees and we decided at 9:30 to go to dinner. I went up to my room and plugged my phone up it was 9:00 and I decided to take a shower. After the first verse and kendrick lamar part I got out. I decided on a leopard print mini dress with a black jean vest. I put on my pumps and curled my hair.I grabbed my phone off the charger and went dowstairs. When I got down there my mom was in a cupcake dress,my dad in some dress clothes and everybody looked elegant. We got inside the Tahoe and drove off to a french restaurant.

When we got out we were in front of some french restaurant downtown.We entered and they led us to a table. We sat at the table and ordered. I ordered some pasta and marinara sauce with a side of garli bread. When everybody got theit food we ate and enjoyed the night.
