CHAPTER SIXTY-SIX

It was like time suddenly stopped for me as Baekhyun was holding Sehun in place. Aleister was currently aiming the knife at him too. Sehun wasn't even putting up a fight anymore. He looked defeated. He's giving up, isn't he?

This is wrong. This is so wrong. Sehun doesn't deserve to die!

Baekhyun kept glancing at me as he was holding Sehun. Aleister was just right beside me. A sinister smile was on his lips. I despise him. How can someone be so evil?

I was just looking at Sehun. He looked really helpless. I want to stop Aleister, I really do, but I can't because of Baekhyun.

Sehun gave me one last sad smile and I felt my stomach churning. A while ago he was at his toughest, I didn't know that he could be at his weakest too.

"I just wanted to be happy with you, Paige. But I guess even that was too much to ask for."

Tears immediately fell from my eyes when I heard Sehun's thoughts. I could recall something similar from the back of my mind. "Why can't we just be happy together?"

"It's finally over."

Sehun tensed up as he braced himself when Aleister shoved the knife towards his chest. Droplets of blood began falling onto the ground as I took a deep breath.

"Damn... you're really stupid. Crazy stupid." Baekhyun says in disbelief as he looked at my bleeding hand.

Sehun turned towards me, his eyes wide in surprise. Baekhyun released his hold on him then he slightly pushed him back.

"What are you doing?!" Aleister exclaimed as he tried to pull the knife back but I only tightened my grip. I winced as I felt it cutting me deeper.

At that instant, every bit of my memories hit me like a tidal wave. A wave of nausea hit me, it was like my soul was wandering out of my body and it suddenly came back.

Before I could even process anything, Aleister fell onto his knees. Baekhyun has a syringe struck at Aleister's neck. He released his hold on it before giving him a strong kick which caused him to fall onto the ground.

Aleister cursed as he struggled to get back up but the potion already took its effect. He fell back onto the ground and his eyes slowly closed.

"It's all over Aleister," Baekhyun took a deep breath. "All over for you."

Sehun still looked like he's in shock. He was just looking at me in bewilderment.

Baekhyun gave me a gentle pat on the back. "I know it's all confusing but he needs you right now." he gave me a small smile.

I wasted no time and I immediately ran towards Sehun to give him a tight hug.

All the memories are still flashing in my mind. I could recall everything and gosh, I feel so horrible. I caused him so much pain again. I couldn't stop crying again. How could I forget him? How could I even forget how wonderful he is? I couldn't imagine how painful it must have been for him.

"I'm sorry, Sehun. I'm so sorry." I told him once again.

Sehun still looked like he's stuck in a trance. I know it's a lot to sink in.

"Hey," I said as I cupped his faced despite my injured hand. "Don't tell me you're the one that can't remember me now." I let out a chuckle.

"W-what's going on?" Sehun stammered.

"I don't know... I can't explain. I lost my memories... I couldn't remember anything good about you, I--" I couldn't even explain it since it's so confusing for me too. When I lost to my other form back then, it felt like someone else was living my life. This time, I was still the same but it felt like my recent memories were erased.
