"Heyy Becs", Lisa spoke through the phone.

"Let's have fun. It has been so long that we all hung out together. We are planning to go somewhere.", she added.

"Ohh...",I said.

I was not really in a mood to go out.

"And Caleb apparently wants to go out with Reed as well, it will be a great opportunity for them to be together."

"No, lisa I am really not in a mood."

"Come on Becca, please come."

"Why don't you guys carry on? I really don't want to come."

"I don't know anything. You are coming and that's final. We are going out for dinner tonight, and you are coming.", Lisa said.

I wonder if Evan will come as well..

"Ummm... Lisa? Who all are going?", I asked.

"Usual. You me, Ben, Caleb, Reed and Evan.", she said.

So Evan is coming as well..

"Becca? Are you there?"

'Ohh.. yes. I am listening.", I responded.

"So, we will pick you up in an hour. We all will go to the Beach and have dinner at one of the shacks."

"Do I have a choice?", I asked.

"No, you don't! Be ready.. love you!", she said.

"I hate you too!", I said.

She laughed and hung up.

I remember the last time when I came to the Beach. It was with Evan.

The time that we spent on the beach that day? It was so special.

And today....

What I thought about him then, and what I think about now is so different.
In just the matter of somedays things have become so different.

I usually love beaches. But today I don't feel relaxed. Evan is here.

All my friends are here but this one person has taken up on my mind. I can't help but look only at him. We have had occasional eye contacts, he smiled at me once or twice but I ignored.

We have not talked to each other at all.

"I have never come to a beach before.", Reed said.

"Really?", Caleb asked.

"Becca loves beaches!", Evan said.

I looked at Evan and he smiled at me. I didn't smile back, instead I looked away.

It is so difficult to not pay attention to him..

Urgghhh... Becca.. get a grip!

"Woah, How do you know that Becca loves beaches?", Lisa nudged Evan's shoulder and asked him in a teasing manner.

"Just.. we had come here before once.", Evan shrugged said casually.

Casually?
It doesn't matter to him.. and I was making a big deal out of it. Out of the time that we had spent on beach that day.

We all were walking on the sand, without our footwears. Since we were on the beach, we decided to leave the footwears in the car itself.

Ben wrapped his right hand on Lisa's shoulder while walking and Lisa leaned on his side.
