Chapter 45

"Where are they?", Ben asked us as soon as he arrived.

"In the Boy's room.", Reed answered.

"And Becca?", Ben turned to me and said in a threatening tone.

"Hmmm??"

"I did not expect this from you.", he said in a flat tone.

"What?", I was confused.

"You knew about Ashton? That he is back in the town?", he said.

Oh fuck..
I totally forgot to tell Lisa, Ben and Caleb about Ashton.
Oh shit.. I am screwed.

"What!!!? Ashton is Back?", Lisa asked in disbelief.

"Yes. He is. And Becca knew this.", Ben said glaring at me.

"Becca? Why didn't you tell us?", Lisa asked me.

"It just.. it just slipped my mind.", I said nervously playing with the hem of my top.

"Ashton did all this.", Ben said out of no where.

"What? Ashton did this to Caleb and Evan?", I asked in total disbelief.

"Yes. They apparently got into an argument and the argument turned into a fight. And so...", Ben said.

Why would Ashton do this?

"But how do you know?", Lisa asked Ben.

"Everyone is talking about it.", Ben answered.

I was shocked.

I didn't know what to say.

"Why don't we tell out school authorities about it.", Lisa told Ben.

"No, we can't. It all happened outside the school premises. So, school authorities cannot take any action against Ashton.", Ben told Lisa.

Lisa groaned in disappointment.

"Guys? Who is Ashton?", Reed asked.

Oh ya..
Reed doesn't even know about my past..

"Ashton? He is an asshole.", Lisa said.

Reed frowned.

"Ummm.. Reed? Its a long story.. can I tell you later about it?", I told Reed nervously.

"Oh.. It's okay, I understand.", Reed said patting shoulder.

"Guys, I'll take Evan and Caleb in my car and go ahead. And Reed, Becca.. you guys keep your stuff in the lockers and come in Lisa's car to the clinic.", he said.

We nodded.

"Let's go and keep our stuff in the locker.", Reed said holding my arm.

I nodded and started walking with her.

I glanced one last time at the Boy's room to take one look at Evan, but he hadn't come out yet.

I sighed and headed towards the locker room with Reed and Lisa.

We reached the clinic later after 15 minutes and saw Ben in the waiting room.

"Where is Caleb? And Evan?", Reed asked Ben.

"They have some cuts and bruises. Doctor said Evan has a sprain in his wrist. But otherwise they are okay. They are inside. For dressing."

"Ohh..", I sighed in relief.

"Thank god there is nothing serious.", Reed said.

We also decided to wait until Caleb and Evan came out.
