I smiled as I read the message on my phone.

I cannot believe I and Evan are so close now. And after what happened yesterday, Evan knows everything about my life, even about Ashton.

*Where are you?
I am in the locker room.*- Me

I typed and sent it to Evan.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around.

Ashton?

"Heyy," he waved.

"Hey," I replied awkwardly.

"Umm.. I wanted to ask you something," he said unsure.

"Ya sure. What is it?"

"Are you cool now? I mean.. can we be friends?" He asked nervously.

"Ofcourse Ashton.. why not. It was all such a big misunderstanding. And it wasn't anyone's fault. I think we should forget it," I said and gave him a genuine smile.

He smiled as well.

"So we are good, right?" Ashton asked.

"Yes we are," I smiled and took my books out of my locker.

"So you are heading towards your class?" he asked.

"Yes. I have chemistry," I answered.

"Can I accompany you to your class?"

"Umm... That's um.. really sweet of you but.. I am waiting for Evan.. he was going to meet me. So..."

"Oh.." he said awkwardly.

"Yes," I replied.

"So.. umm.. I think I should leave. See you later?" he waved and started to leave but I called him.

"Ashton?"

"Ya?" he turned.

"Ashton what we had was really special. And I will cherish all the good times we spent together. And yesterday you told me that you still love me but.... but I am afraid I don't feel the same anymore," I said in a soft tone trying my best not to sound mean.

He nodded.

"I had learnt to live without you and I have moved on. I don't want to lead you on a wrong path or give you false hopes. I am sorry but I really like Evan. You should move on."

"I know Becca," he said and gave me a soft smile.

"You are an amazing girl, and I am glad I can have you as a friend atleast," he added before leaving.

I looked at his retreating figure and smiled at how things had changed between me and Ashton. He was my past, but I somehow don't feel the same about him anymore.

"Becca?", I heard someone call me from behind.

"Evan?"

"You know, I heard that some girl was telling Ashton that she really likes me," he said acting innocent.

So he heard everything.

I knew he was talking about the conversation that between me and Ashton.

"Yeah who?" I shrugged and pretended to not know what he was talking about.

"You."

"Eaves dropping should be a crime," I said.

"Sadly it's not. And I heard you say that you really like me. How cute," he said teasing me and pulling my cheek.

"Whatever," I huffed and started walking towards the class.

"Okay okay I am sorry," he said.

"Better!"

"So.. Where were you? I was waiting," he pouted.

"I just came with mom so.." I started.

"Oh.. but now we won't get time to spend together before school, the lecture gonna start in 10 mins. I wanted to tell you something and I was waiting..." he pouted.

"Evan you are such a baby," I giggled.

"Eww.. baby?" he said narrowing his eyes at me.

"Yes you are a baby." I said, "What did you want to say anyway?"

"Forget it. Not now," he shrugged.

"Come on, tell me. What is it?" I insisted.

"Nope."

"Please??" I poked his arm.

"No."

"Fine. You are so weird," I sighed.

"And you are stupid," he said.

"You are a Jerk."

"You are Clumsy."

"Dickhead."

"Cry baby"

"Dog"

"Girlfriend????"

"Boyfriend!!!"

Wait..

What?

What just happened?

Did he just call me girlfriend?

"Evan? Did you just?" I asked in disbelief.

He took a step closer to me and smiled at me before holding my hand and kissing it.

"Will you be my girlfriend Becca Wilson?" he asked.
