"Will you be my girlfriend Becca Wilson?" said Evan.

I felt breathless.
I couldn't believe he just asked me to be his girlfriend.

It was so sudden.

"E- Evan.. " I stuttered.

He took a step in my direction and came closer to me.

"Becca? I have never been so sure about anything..
I have lost a lots of people in my life, but when I met you, I felt like I never needed anybody else.
You are the reason I started smiling.
You are the reason why I feel like being a better person.
You are the person I want to be with everyday, every minute and every second.
I want to be your knight in shinning armour when you are a damsel in distress.
I want to be the hero of your story Miss Clumsy," he chuckled.

He took my hands in and intertwined our fingers.

"Becca..
I want to be the one who holds you when you fall,
The one who makes you smile when you are sad,
I want to be the shoulder if you feel like crying.

I think, you are all I want,
I think I am falling in love with you,"

"Oh my god Evan..."

"Don't tell me you are going to cry about this as well.." he chuckled and I pushed him away but he pulled me back near him.

"So.. will you?" Evan asked again.

I just nodded.

"I can't hear you Becca."

"Yes.. Evan.. I will love to be your girlfriend," I said.

Evan quickly held my waist and pulled me closer to him. I wrapped my hands around his neck and tip-toed as he leaned closer.

"I love you Evan," I said and gave him a quick peck on his lips.

"Ofcourse, you'll love me, is there anything in me to not love?" he said cockily.

"Jerk!" I said and pushed him away.

"Your boyfriend might be a jerk, but he loves you," he winked.

"And he is the best," I added and kissed him on his lips again.

Do you know that feeling when you think your life is perfect?

That maybe you want your life to be like that forever?

The happiness that you feel lasts forever?

Yes, that is what I was feeling.

My life felt perfect.

My life had finally taken a beautiful turn and I wanted to walk on this path of my life forever.
