You sat on the balcony just watching the cars drive by, the wind sway the trees, and the lights flash in the busy New York City night life.
"Mind if I sit?" A voice asked softly. You didn't even have to turn to know who it was.
"Whatever." You sighed. Joe sat down next to you and looked at your thoughtful face.
"It's not your fault." He said.
"Yes it is." You mumbled.
"How were you supposed to know that Pete was gonna choke on your food? The guy chokes on air!"
"Pete is in the hospital because of me. You should be there keeping him company."
"Then who's gonna keep you company?"
"I don't deserve company." Joe sighed and looked out at the New York City setting.
"Well I think you do deserve company. In fact, I think your worthy of my company." Joe smirked, looking at you from the corner of his eye. You smiled slightly and bit your lip.
"Shut up Joe." You smiled.
"Whatever. The point is, I'm not leaving you (Y/N)." Joe stated. You turned and fully looked at him for the first time of the night.
"And if I want to be alone?" You asked. Joe smirked and shrugged his shoulders.
"Then we'll be alone together."
