Julie's P.O.V

I checked the mirror, admiring the second piercing in my ear. I've always wanted to get a second piercing and now that I have one, I can't stop looking at it. I was wearing the type that attached from the upper ear to the lower ear and had a chain hanging. I loved it and I think that it looked pretty good on me. I smiled and backed away from the mirror, turning to look towards Liz and Caitlin.

We've been working hard these past few days, preparing for Wednesday's show. This week's theme is 'Thanks Week' and because of that, our families are flying out to see us. My brother, my aunt, and my father are flying out to see me. I cannot wait to see my aunt again. I've spoken to her on and off again, but I've been so busy. I wish I could talk to her more but we are always so busy.

It's harder on Liz and Caitlin. They are in completely different time zones. We are three hours behind them so when we are finally free for the night, it's late where their families are. Liz hasn't been able to properly talk to her parents in I don't know how long and Caitlin hasn't talked to her dad and Nancy in a week or so. It'll be nice for us to be together again, and it would be pretty great for our families to meet as well. Knowing that we are going to stick together no matter what happens, it would be better for us if our families got along as well.

"What time is it?" Caitlin asked.

"It's almost ten. We should start heading to the airport. What time did you say that your family was landing?" Liz asked.

"Their plane lands at eleven. Mark told us that they'll have three cars there to take us back here. They are staying at the hotel across the street." I said, sitting down on the bed. I grabbed my ankle boots and slide into them, zipping them up.

"I'm nervous about seeing my parents. What if they see my piercing?" Liz asked, pulling up her loose shirt and looking at the piercing. The area around it was a little red but it looked almost normal. She was complaining about how much it hurt, especially when she had to clean it, but it was obvious that she loved it.

"Kacey will probably want one too, huh?" Caitlin asked.

Liz laughed, nodding her head. "She likes to have a lot of the stuff that I have."

"Thank God I don't have a little sister." I said, standing from the bed.

"Yeah, that would be funny. Now come on, we really should get going."

I laughed loudly at my aunt, who was hugging Liz tightly. The poor blonde girl had no idea what to and was looking at me for help. But Liz didn't know my aunt and she didn't know that there was no getting out of her hold. My aunt was a people person and a hugger, a terrible combination that my mother also possessed and luckily, I did not get.

"Oh you are just the prettiest thing. How old are you again? Fifteen?" Aunt Catherine asked.

"I just turned nineteen." Liz said, looking over at me again. I decided to step in and save the poor girl.

"Come aunt Catherine, let Lizzie go." I said, taking my aunt's hand. She laughed, apologizing to Liz.

"It's fine, it's fine. It's nice to meet you, I've heard a lot about you." Liz said.

"All good I'll assume." My aunt said.

"Of course. I need to go over to gate twenty one, my family should be landing in a few minutes. But we'll meet at the Dunkin' Donuts up ahead, okay?" Liz said, the last part directed towards Caitlin and I. We both nodded and Liz took off, quickly walking towards wherever her family was going to be, with a camera man following her. I turned to look at my family and smiled. I was excited for them to be here and to see the show on Wednesday. I think that they are really going to like it.

"So," I said, eyeing the camera man that was filming us. It was slowly getting easier having cameraman around us. We were growing used to it I suppose. "You guys must be hungry. Let's head up to Dunkin' Donuts know and get something to eat."

I collapsed onto my bed later that night, sighing in content at the lack of pressure on my feet. After all the families had met and had seemed to get along, we all separated to do our own things. I took my family around the city. We just did some sightseeing and then went to grab something to eat. Then we walked around until it got late and made our ways back to the hotel.

Caitlin was already here, playing on her phone and lying in the bed that she shared with Liz. She laughed quietly and set her phone done, looking over at me. "How was your day with your family?" She asked.

"It was fine. I had fun. I haven't realized that I missed them that much. It was nice seeing and being with them again." I said. The door to the room opened and Liz walked in, dropping a few bags and then kicking the door closed. She sent us a lazy smile before she fell onto the bed and sighed loudly.

"Someone must be tired. How was your day with your family?" I asked the blonde.

"Amazing. I can't believe how much I missed them. We went to their hotel first and then down to the beach. Kacey loved it and so did Toby. I think that they are really going to love it here. I wish they could've come earlier and spent more time here. I also wish that we don't have to rehearse tomorrow. But at least they get to hang out together. I think that Toby and Jake will get along pretty well." Liz said.

"I think so too. At least I hope so."
