*Connor is hiding above Sidoh with a fishing pole that the death note is attached to, slowly reeling it in*
Connor: this is so fun. Ooh! Shinigami apple! *bites into shinigami apple, spits it out*
Connor: tastes like sand. *takes out wand* Accio Apple! *regular apple appears, eats apple*
Connor: now where's ryuk? *spots ryuk* There he is! *flys over to ryuk* hey ryuk!
Ryuk: may I help you?
Connor: Ryuk, it's me.
Ryuk: nice to meet you, Me. I'm ryuk.
Connor: shaddup. It's me, Connor
Ryuk: CONNOR? How'd you--
Connor: I died and ended up turning into a shinigami. But I need to get back!
Ryuk: just chuck your death note into the portal to the human world.
Connor: no, I mean permanently. And I don't wanna be walking around looking like this!
Ryuk: But Connor, you had the power to return home all along. Just click your heals three times and say there's no place like home!

Ryuk: no, I'm serious! That's actually how you get back!

*at the task force, everyone misses Connor*
