y/n opened her eyes as her alarm went off.

it was a friday.

the girl got dressed and looked at herself in the mirror.

she had two dutch braids on for hair.

y/n thought about the news last night.

she didn't worry about it much but what if it happened again?

she pushed the thoughts away as she gathered her materials for school and put them in her bag.

jisung called her down and y/n went down to see her grandmother making breakfast.

"granny, you didn't have to." y/n pouted as her grandma set the plates down.

"now now, y/n. i may be old but i can still do regular activities."

"i missed granny's cooking anyways." jisung laughed.

"eat, my child." the elder scooped some side dishes for him and y/n watched in envy.

"granny, i want you to scoop for me too." y/n said childishly.

this was a side only her family knew about.

"wow, i'm so full." jisung said as the two walked out the door.

jaehyun was just walking outside too and notice them.

"good morning." he smiled at the siblings.

"good morning hyung!" jisung shouted back.

"good morning." y/n bowed.

"can i walk with you guys?" jaehyun asked as he joined the two.

"sure hyung. noona is really boring."
y/n slapped his arm lightly.

"i am not!" exclaimed the older sister.

"say, are you guys friends in school as well?" jisung asked suddenly.

there was a moment of silence but y/n broke it.

"of course. jaehyun has different classes from me so we don't really have time to talk."

jaehyun looked at her surprised but it was true.

"hyung, basketball season is coming right? are you gonna tryout?" jisung asked with enthusiasm.

"of course. i'm the vice-captain of the basketball team you know and try outs are today so i'll be picking new members." jaehyun smiled.

"really?! can you teach me how to play?"

"of course. we have to find time though." jaehyun told the younger boy.

"y/n noona is really great at sports too you know but she can't teach me because of her work."

"sorry." y/n said feeling guilty.

"that's ok because hyung will teach you better than her." jaehyun bragged and y/n looked at him weirdly.

"well see you later!" jisung ran off since they arrived at his school.

"be safe and don't cause trouble you hear me?" y/n reminded him like a mother.

"if i didn't know he was your brother, i'd think he was your son instead." jaehyun commented as he watch the boy run to his friends.

the two arrived and jaehyun said goodbye before walking off to his group of friends.

"y/n! good morning!" yuta greeted cheerfully as always.

with him were ten and winwin as well.

they were known by other students as the "foreign squad".

"did you sleep well last night?" ten asked looking closely at her face.

"of course i did." y/n said as she touched her cheek.

"you came with jaehyun?" winwin asked with a doleful expression.

"oh yes, he lives next door to me." y/n told them casually.

"for real?!" ten exclaimed squeezing the girl's shoulders.

"yeah, is it that serious?" y/n questioned and ten sighed.

"can i visit your house one day?" he then asked.

"um, sure. my granny loves when i bring a classmate over." y/n told them and yuta spoke up.

"i've met granny g/n before. she's really kind and funny too. i love her."

"she said she misses you." y/n chuckled lightly.

"i wanna visit too." winwin held y/n's hand and laced their fingers.

y/n didn't react physically but his sudden action made her self conscious all of a sudden.

"you guys can visit today."

"really?!" ten asked.

"of course. after the try outs of course since it's today." y/n said and ten smiled widely.

"you're coming to cheer me on?" he grinned.

"we're coming too idiot." yuta said pointing to him and winwin.

"i almost forgot. you're really the captain of the soccer team?" ten asked yuta and he nodded proudly.

"yep."

"who's the captain of the basketball team?" ten asked with hand on his chin.

"that guy over there." yuta pointed and there was lee taeyong walking down the halls.

"he was in detention with us yesterday remember." yuta said and ten remembered.

"oh! wasn't his name lee something?"

"lee taeyong." winwin said quietly but the other heard him.

"yeah,lee taeyong."
