Forever_Trekkie Here you go! I hope this was along the lines of what you wanted haha ;)

It took everything for you to not start jumping up and down on your toes as you stood next to your husband while the two of you watched earth grow closer. Leonard was having a hard time understanding why you were so keen to go back to earth but he could cut off his arm if it made you happy.

You grasped Leonard's hand and looked up at him, your face almost hurting with how hard you were smiling. "I have a feeling you are so going to hate what I'm planning but I don't care."

Leonard couldn't help but chuckle, wrapping his arm around you and pulling you to his chest, his chin resting on your head. "It will take a lot more than going back to earth to get me to disagree with you." He kissed the top of your head and you closed your eyes contently.

"Oh well, I have a feeling I may have found out how to do that."

You stood next to your husband again but on Earth and standing in front of his old childhood home. And you weren't holding hands now. In fact, his arms were cross and his brow was furrowed.

"You weren't kidding about finding a way to get me to disagree with you." He turned to you and gestured to the house before you. "What in the world are we doing here? I thought this thing burned down the moment the devil of my family left it."

You snickered, turning to him with bright eyes. "I bought it!"

Leonard dead panned. He dared not move as he searched your face and every movement of your body ready for you to place your hand on his arm and giggle saying you were joking. But you just smiled your dazzling smile, making it hard for him to keep his own straight face. After a few more seconds he turned to the house and let out a breath.

"Woman. There had better be a good reason you bought his dump of a place."

You let out a nervous breath and relaxed at his gentle but guarded tone. You reached over and gently pried his arms away from his chest and took both hands in yours as you led him up the steps and into the old home.

"Well, I was hoping we could renovate it. Together."

This time he chuckled. "I'm a doctor, not a construction worker."

You smiled as you reached up on your tip toes and pressed a light kiss on his lips. "I know how good you are with your hands." You winked. "This will be a piece of cake."

Leonard watched you, his beloved and sometimes irrational wife, practically skip down the old hallways, humming happily. He couldn't help but smile as he imagined his home that he once hated suddenly becoming filled with your laughter and the sounds of children running around.

He shook his head and let out a breath as he placed his hands on his hips, looking around the old dump. Your voice echoed throughout the house followed by the sound of wood popping and clattering. Leonard let out a low chuckle as he picked his way through the debris following the echo of your voice, adding his own bass to your melody.

You let out a little groan as you stood up from a crouch, bringing a small stack of tiles with you. You hobbled over to your side of the house, the side you told your husband he wasn't allowed to see yet. The sound of power tools was music to your ears as you sat the tiles down in the small bathroom you were about finished with.

Five months into this and you were finally seeing big changes that helped you stay excited and determined to finish. Surprisingly you were the one who became discouraged more often than Leonard and he ended up being the one who would wrap his arms around you, rubbing his stubbled chin on your cheeks and tickling your sides as he told you not to give up and pick a new project in the house to finish. It was in moments like that that made you fall all the more in love with him.
