Burnout.

Living with any mental illness can make you feel burned out, tired, and exhausted. I know for me, when I am depressed, I definitely feel all those things.

So what do you do when you feel burned out?

You go to God.

When you go to God, He will give you the peace and rest you need. So you won't be burned out. Run into God's loving, comforting, helping, and forgiving arms. He will help you. He won't disappoint you or leave you. He will be right there by side you. He will be holding your hand. You can go through life with Him by your side. You will be walking with Him, side by side. He will always be there for you, no matter what. Even if you have walked away from Him. He will welcome you back, with open arms.

So run to Him. He is there for you. He is waiting for you. He loves you. You don't have to deal with this all on your own. You don't have to be burned out anymore. You have an amazing God, who just wants to help you, and be there for you. He will give you everything you need. You don't need to go through life with a mental illness on your own. Because you have God who wants to be by your side as you go through life, together.

Burnout? Tired? Exhausted?

Go to God and He will give you everything you need.

Verses:

"Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty." Psalm 91:1

"God says, 'I have given rest to the weary.'" Jeremiah 31:25

"The is special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God's rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world." Hebrews 4:9-10

"It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones." Psalm 127:2

""Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly." Matthew 11:28

"You who sit down in the High God's presence, spend the night in Shaddai's shadow, Say this: "God, you're my refuge. I trust in you and I'm safe!" That's right—he rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards. His huge outstretched arms protect you— under them you're perfectly safe; his arms fend off all harm. Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows in the day, Not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon. Even though others succumb all around, drop like flies right and left, no harm will even graze you. You'll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance, watch the wicked turn into corpses. Yes, because God's your refuge, the High God your very own home, Evil can't get close to you, harm can't get through the door. He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go. If you stumble, they'll catch you; their job is to keep you from falling. You'll walk unharmed among lions and snakes, and kick young lions and serpents from the path." Psalm 91:1

Prayer:

Dear God,

I feel exhausted, tired, and burned out. I pray you give me rest and peace. I pray that we walk through life together. I can't do life without you Lord. I pray you come into to my heart. Comfort, love, and help me. I thank you for all my many blessings and your Son. I praise you because you are a good God.

In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen.
