Self esteem.

In this world, it's easy to base our self worth in worldly things. Like how many likes one of your pictures gets on Instagram or how your body looks compared to models. In this world, it's easy to do that.

But that's not what God wants. God wants us to base our self worth in Him. To find our self esteem in Him and His word. Not what other people think or what our bodies look like. But to find our identity in God.

How?

Stop focusing on the worldly things and focus on God. Know what God says about you. Because what God calls you, is the truth. This world, is full of lies and liars. We need to fix our eyes on the truth, God himself.

Here is what calls you (here is the truth about how you are). This is what you need to base your self worth, identity, and self esteem off of:

You are beautiful. (Psalm 45:11)

You are unique. (Psalm 139:13)

You are loved. (Jeremiah 31:3)

You are special. (Ephesians 2:10)

You are created with a purpose. (Jeremiah 29:11)

You are cared for. (Ephesians 3:17-19)

You are lovely. (Daniel 12:3)

You are precious. ( 1 Corinthians 6:20)

You are strong. (Psalm 18:35)

You are important. (1 Peter 2:9)

You are forgiven. ( Psalm 103:12)

You are protected. (Psalm 121:3)

You are chosen. (John 15:16)

You are mine. (Isaiah 43:1)

What is what you are. A beautiful, loved, and chosen Child of God. You are NOT the number on the scale. You are NOT what other people think of you. You are NOT the mistakes you have made. But you ARE: loved, cared for, chosen, important, forgiven, and so much more.

Let's fix our eyes on what God says we are. Let's build our self esteem in God and His word. Because if you have your self esteem in Him, nobody can take that away from you. I promise if you put your self esteem in God, your life will be changed forever (In the best way possible). I promise you, you won't regret it!❤️

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Jeremiah 29:11

"The sweet, fragrant curves of your body, the soft, spiced contours of your flesh. Invite me, and I come. I stay until dawn breathes its light and night slips away. You're beautiful from head to toe, my dear love, beautiful beyond compare, absolutely flawless.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth." Psalm 139: 13-15

Prayer:

Dear God,

I am putting my self esteem, self worth, and my identity in YOU! Please fill me with joy as I give you all of me. I want to be happy! Full of good self esteem and confidence. So I ask you to help me change my self worth from focusing on the world and help me start focusing on you Lord. I want to be close to you Lord.

I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son!
