Suffering

Suffering.

Maybe right now, you are really suffering. Maybe one of your family members is sick, maybe things are really tough at school, or maybe you are struggling with an illness. No matter what you are struggling and suffering from, God is here to help you through it.

If you have been reading my devotionals for awhile, you all know I am suffering from physical pain due to fibromyalgia. It been really hard and my pain has been making me feel very depressed. I honestly don't know when or if my pain will go away. But I do know that God is with me, and He is with you to.

In life, we all struggling with suffering. The thing I try to remember when I am struggling and suffering is: God never promised we won't have trouble. In fact, He said we will have suffering.

"Jesus answered them, "Do you finally believe? In fact, you're about to make a run for it—saving your own skins and abandoning me. But I'm not abandoned. The Father is with me. I've told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I've conquered the world." John 14:15

God wants us to take heart because He has overcome the world! With God on our side, we can do anything! I know it's tough when we are suffering but God is here. He wants to grab you hand and walk through life with Him by your side. He wants to be there for you. You don't have to go through this alone. God is here for you and so I am! If you ever need someone to talk to you or have a prayer request, I am here for you.

Let's run into God's arm today because He is here to help through whatever we are suffering from!❤️

"The Lord helps the fallen and lift those bend beneath their loads." Psalm 145:14

"I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That's why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and the in the insults, hardships, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

"Don't be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad--for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world." 1 Peter 4:12-13

Prayer:

Dear God,

I pray you just help me. I am really struggling and suffering. I am running into your arms because I know I can get through anything with you by my side. You love me, comfort me, help me, and guide me. You are so good to me God and I praise you for it. So please come into my heart and help me through this.

I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.

In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen!
