Focusing on God.
In this world, it's easy for us to take our eyes off God. You have social media to look at, circumstances that get us distracted, work, school, or anything else. It's easy to get distracted. But we can focus on God even through the storms.
So how do we focus on God?
By lifting our eyes above our problems and ourselves. By fixing our God and putting God, number one in our life. By looking to God when things get rough. Not running to phones to distract us but running into God's loving and comforting arms.
This is not easy.
The easy thing is to focus on ourselves and our problems. It take self control to focus on God. You have say it out loud: "I am DONE focusing on myself and my problems. I am going to look to my amazing God." You have to be determined to look to Him.
Yes, it's hard. But yes, you can do it.
How do you do it?
By praying and reading your Bible. Focusing on God and His word.
I am sure you have heard: "read your Bible and pray!" a thousand times. But it really does help! It will really lift your eyes of you, put your eyes on Him, and His word.
Focusing on God will really help you. It will make you realize just how amazing God is. It will show you that you can and will get through this. Just run into God's loving and comforting arms. You can do this. I believe in you and God believes in you. Let's focus on God!❤️

"Since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith." Hebrews 12:1-2
"As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands." Psalm 119:143
"God says, 'I will be your God throughout your lifetime--until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you." Isaiah 46:4
Prayer:
Dear God,
Help me fix my eyes on you. Help me lift my eyes above myself and my circumstances. Help me focus on you. Help me to pray and read my Bible everyday. Help me grow closer to you. I know with you by my side, I can do anything. So thank you Lord! Thank you for helping me, for all my many blessings, and for Your Son.
