God is truth.
Living with any mental illness (or without any mental illness), I am sure you have heard some lies.
"You are fat, ugly, worthless, useless, etc."
No matter what you have heard. I want you to know the truth. That God is truth. And no matter what you have been called or heard, those are lies. God knows the truth.
Here is what God calls you:
You are beautiful. (Psalm 45:11)
You are unique. (Psalm 139:13)
You are loved. (Jeremiah 31:3)
You are special. (Ephesians 2:10)
You are created with a purpose. (Jeremiah 29:11)
You are cared for. (Ephesians 3:17-19)
You are lovely. (Daniel 12:3)
You are precious. ( 1 Corinthians 6:20)
You are strong. (Psalm 18:35)
You are important. (1 Peter 2:9)
You are forgiven. ( Psalm 103:12)
You are protected. (Psalm 121:3)
You are chosen. (John 15:16)
You are mine. (Isaiah 43:1)
You are not what you have heard or been called. You are who God calls you. Because God is truth. You are not the lies. You are a beautiful, loved, amazing, cared for, child of God.
Don't listen to those lies! Listen to God because He is and knows the truth.
Verses:
"Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth." John 17:17
"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6
"I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul." Psalm 31:7
"The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love." Psalm 103:8
"See how much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are!" 1 John 3:1
Prayer:
Dear God,
I pray that you help me hear your truth. Help me stop believing and listening to the lies. Help me focus on your truth. Because I know that you are truth. I thank you for your word, your Son, and all my many blessings. I praise you because you are so good to me. I am so thankful for you.
