(Morning)

**Kelleys POV**

I woke up and remembered it was a short week of school so we had today off. Hayes and I fell asleep on the couch last night and woke up at 11.

My parents walked down stairs.

"Hey Kelley, did Jake spend the night?" my mom asked me, flipping the lights on.

"No Hayes did," I replied moving over to the reclining chair so I wasn't laying next to Hayes.

"Oh. I would like to get to know him better. Why don't we all go out for breakfast?" My mom asked.

"Yeah sure. I will wake him up," I said, walking over to Hayes and shaking him so he woke up.

"Good morning," he said in his morning voice. I couldn't help but smile.

"We are going to go out to breakfast with my parents. They want to get to know you," I said.

We both got up and Hayes ran home to get some different clothes on.

I went upstairs and took my hair out of a braid so it was curly. I put on some light wash jeans and a plain pink teeshirt.

I walked down stairs and saw Hayes was talking with my parents. They were all laughing.

"Hey guys I'm ready," I said to them.

We all walk out to our red mustang convertible. We usually never drive this car.

My parents decided on IHOP since Hayes and I both love pancakes. We walked in and sat at a booth and ordered our drinks.

**Hayes POV**

"So Hayes, when did you move here?" Kelley's dad asked.

"About 2 weeks ago but I started school last Friday," I replied.

"And you're pretty famous I've heard?" her mom asked.

"Yeah I guess. My brother is more famous than me though. His name is Nash," I said while digging into my pancakes that we just got.

"How exactly are you famous?" her dad said.

"Well there is this app called vine and you can post 7 second videos on there and so many people thought I was funny so they followed me and yeah," I explained.

We finished out pancakes and Kelley and I got in the back of the convertible.

We got back to her house and I decided to go home because my mom wanted me to help her with something

I walk home and couldn't help but think about Kelley. Her beautiful blonde hair, her blue eyes. She had no flaws.

All of a sudden a crowd of screaming girls ran up to me. I took pictures with them and signed the backs of their phones. Being crowded by girls bothers me sometimes. I want my space too.

I got back to my house and my mom and Nash were eating lunch.

"Hey asshole where ya been?" Nash asked me.

"I was at Kelleys," I replied, laughing at what Nash called me.

"Hey Hayes wanna go penny board around town for a while?" Nash asked.

"Yeah sure," I replied.

We grab our boards and leave the house.

**Kelleys POV**

I decided to ask Jake if he wanted to come over. He said he did so he came over.

"Jake! I missed you," I yelled running over to him and practically knocking him over.

"I was only gone for a few days!" he said.

"Yeah I know but we haven't been spending very much time together lately," I said.

We walked out to the beach and we went swimming.

"Hey Kelley can I ask you something?" Jake asked.

"Yeah of course," I said

"Do you like Hayes? As more than a friend?" Jake sounded sad.

"I'm not sure," I said truthfully. I honestly didn't know if I had feeling for Hayes.

"I heard you were allowed to date," Jake said. "I just don't want you getting hurt by Hayes. He seems like the type of guy that could easily cheat on a girl or hurt her."

"Jake I don't think I'm going to date Hayes."

"Good."

I hugged him and we walked out of the water and dried off. Then we got smoothies and sat on a bench together.

"I miss spending every single waking moment with you Kelley," Jake looked over at me.

"Me too."

Jake and I look at each other. He grabs my face gently and pulls me towards him. He kissed me and I kissed back. It didn't feel the same as with Hayes. Hayes's kisses were more passionate.

"Jake I don't think-" he cut me off.

"I know. You like Hayes," he said and got up. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that. We are nothing more than best friends."

"Jake wait!" I shouted.

I ran after him but when I caught up to him and hugged him he pushed me off.

"If I can't be your boyfriend I don't want to be your friend," he yelled.

I heard a clap of thunder and it started to rain.

"Jake! I'm sorry! I want to be best friends! I don't want anything more! I want someone to go to when I'm feeling sad. I don't want to go to my boyfriend, I want to go to my best friend. In my mind best friends are better than boy friends," I said.

"Kelley! You don't understand! I have liked you for years! I don't want to be ignored when you do find a boyfriend."

"Well then I think we shouldn't be best friends if you are going to be stubborn," I said, crossing my arms.

"Maybe we shouldn't" Jake yells and walking into his house. He slammed the door.

What the hell just happened? I think I just lost my best friend.

Hayes saw that me and Jake were fighting and ran over to me and hugged me close. I cried.

"It will be okay," Hayes said soothingly.

We were both dripping wet from the rain and went into my house and wrapped in towels.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked me.

I shook my head. "Just hold me close and don't let me go."

Hayes kissed the top of my head. I looked up at him. Our eyes connected and of course we kissed. He grabbed me by the waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. This kiss was so passionate.

I think I have feelings for Hayes.

Our lips separated and I hugged him.

"Kelley?"

"Yeah?"

"Will you be my girl friend?"

A/N- sorry to leave you on another cliff hanger! what will Kelley say?!
