Tree house

Matthew's POV

"follow me." I say simply to Riley and Cam.

I put the skateboard down and ride down the street past Skylar's house, and they both follow me, I turn the corner and go down the street until I reach a cul-de-sac.

I go up to my house, pick up my board and they follow me, I walk up the driveway and go straight to the back gate.

I unlock the gate and walk in holding It open for Riley and Cameron.

"Where are we? is this your place?" Riley asks walking behind me.

"Ya." Cam answers for me because he's been here before.

I lean my board up against the side of my house and they do the same, then I indicate the big tree house in my back yard.

"Woah!" Riley exclaims.

"Ya, I built it with my dad for my little sister last year, but sometimes I use it." I explain.

"Dork." Cam snorts jokingly.

"Hey!" Matt shouts defensively and punches him jokingly.

"Do you guys want to go in?" I ask pointing to the tree house.

Riley's POV

"sure." I say with a bit of a laugh.

"Ya." Cam agrees.

We walk up to the big oak tree and climb up the ladder until we reach the tree house.

When we get into the treehouse I see princess posters everywhere and Barbie dolls scattered around, it's so cute.

Matt goes over to a little cooler and grabs a pint of Ben and Jerry's Ice cream and 3 spoons.

"Yum!" I exclaim.

I looooooveeeee ice cream

Matt hands me and Cam a spoon and we dig in.

We laugh and talk in there for hours. Before I know it, it's 7:30.

"I think we should get going." Cam says to me.

"Ya, I guess." I reply with a sigh.

As we are just about to climb down the ladder we hear a little voice coming from below.

"Matty! Matty! Matty!" A little girl screams.

I look down and there is a little girl about 6 years old at the bottom.

"That's my little sister Lily." Matt says.

"She's so cute!" I exclaim.

"I know right." Matt laughs and Cam chuckles.

"Come on Lily!" Matt calls.

I look down and see her start to climb up. when she reaches the top I pull her up and she runs over to Matt and sits in his lap.

"Hi Matty." she says adorably.

"Hiiii." He says back and punches her cheek.

"Who are they!" Lily asks pointing at Cam and I.

"This is Riley..." Matt starts pointing to me.

"And this is Cameron." he finishes, pointing at Cameron.

"Hi!" she says cutely.

"Hi." Cam and I say simultaneously.

"We really have to get going Ri, mom texted me saying she made dinner and dad's home, you know he's impatient." Cam says.

"Ok, let's go." I say.

"See you tomorrow Matt!" I say happily as I head down the ladder.

"Ya, later man." Cam says.

"Bye guys!" Matt shouts down to us.

I hop on my skateboard when we get to the street and Cam gets on his longboard.

I carry the skate board Matt used back home while I ride, and soon enough we get home.

Cam opens the garage and we put our boards away and head inside.

We slip off our shoes and go into the kitchen.

"Hey mom, hey dad." I say and Cameron waves to them.

There is pizza on the table and I grab a slice and sit down with my plate.

We all talk, but not very much, my mom and dad ask us about school and stuff, but that's about it.

I finish my second slice then head up to my room to relax.

My phone beeps and I look to see that I have a text from Matt.

Matt:

Fro-yo after soccer practice tomorrow?

Me:

Sure, sounds fun, I'll meet up with you at the field.

Matt:

Sounds good, see you at school tomorrow.

Me:

K, bye.

I put my earbuds in and listen to some music while I work on my homework.

I wonder why Matt would want to hang out so much.

Whatever, I guess he's just being friendly.
