Different Souls

Chapter 6.

Luke's P.O.V. 

I saw when Brooklyn and her friends entered the room.

I stared at Brooklyn, she was flawless.

She caught me staring.

She rolled her eyes and I faked smiled at her.

Brook's P.O.V.

Chasing waterfalls started playing.

"Yesss" we all squealed. 

It was our song since freshman year.

We started doing the dance routine we had made (iconic)))))

Everybody stared at us. 

After the song was over everyone cheered and we went outside. We sat down, talked and laughed at people throwing each other in the pool. 

"We're going to the bathroom, be right back" Becca said and left with Bethany. 

Then Julian and Adam came. 

Beverly stood up and Adam sat on the chair and then she sat on his lap. 

I rolled my eyes.

"Hey Brook" Julian smiled.

I rolled my eyes at him.

He grabbed my hand and I snatched it away.

"Why don't you like me?" he asked.

I got up and he grabbed my arm. 

"I want to know you" he said.

"Please" he stuck out his bottom lip. 

I tried not to smile but I ended up smiling.

"Let's dance babe" he said. 

Planes by Jeremiah ft. J Cole started playing and we danced.

I saw Luke staring at us and I moved closer to Julian. 

I then saw that he started dancing with April.

I rolled my eyes and the Julian stepped on me.

"Julian!" I yelled.

"These are Gucci!" I groaned and slapped his chest.

I took my heel off and grabbed on his arm. 

I saw a small stain of dirt. 

I rolled my eyes.

"Carry me" I demanded and he carried me bridal style and I screamed and laughed.

He carried me to the kitchen and placed me on the counter. 

I cleaned it off. 

"I'll be right back" he said and he left.

I got off and bumped into someone. 

I looked up and and saw that it Luke. 

"It had to be you" I rolled my eyes. 

"Move!" I pushed him. 

"Dance with me!" he said and grabbed my arm.

"Let me go or I'll scream so loud" I said.

"Shut up and dance with me" he said and I laughed.

"You're drunk right?" I laughed.

Chasing cars started playing.

"Right on cue" he smiled.

"Okay but you can't touch me" I said.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, and I wrapped my arms around his neck but our arms were floating, I wasn't resting my arms on his neck and he wasn't resting his on my waist.

I then saw April staring at us. 

I saw her wipe her cheek and she left.

I think she liked him. 

He then placed his arms around my waist and pulled me to him.

I screamed.

"Luke!" I said but he ignored me.

I then rested my head on his chest.

Suddenly there was yelling.

I turned around and saw Beverly and Becca screaming at eachother, louder than the music. 

I saw Bethany behind them and she gave me the its-happening look. 

There it goes. 

"I got to go" I told Luke.

I then grabbed his hand, took out my gum and placed it on his hand and left.

"Brooklyn!" I heard and turned around.

I saw him put the gum in his mouth, I laughed and rolled my eyes and then went quickly outside. 

I saw Beverly and Becca arguing. 

"I don't even have to ask what's going on here" I said, getting between the middle of them.

Then Becca pushed Beverly.

I held back Beverly and Bethany held back Becca. 

"Don't touch me, this is a MK dress" Beverly said to Becca. 

"Oh my bad, these hands weren't made to touch trash like you" Becca said and Beverly gasped. 

"Stay away from him! He clearly likes me!" Beverly yelled. 

"You wish!" Becca yelled.

"That's enough!" I yelled.

"Guys this isn't worth it. Adam can't ruin our friendship" Bethany said.

"It's been ruined since Beverly got to stay with everything I wanted!" Becca yelled. 

"It has not" I said.

"See Brook's on my side" Beverly said. 

"Is that true Brook?" Becca asked me.

"I'm not picking sides" I said. 

"Fine then! I'll be better off alone" Becca said and started walking away.

"Becca!" I yelled.

"Leave her, let's go back inside. Adam's probably looking for me" Beverly said. 

But I didn't move.

"Beverly, Adam isn't worth it" I said.

"Oh so you're agreeing with Becca? That I steal everything from her?" she scoffed.

"No Bever-" she cut me off.

"Fine" she said and went back inside. 

I looked at Bethany and she frowned.

"Let's go" she said and she grabbed my hand.
