Day of Birthday (saturday)
I woke up, as usual.
I went to look for my mom.
She was in her room, packing her stuff.
"Happy Birthday sweetheart" she gave me a hug and kissed my forehead.
"Are we going to get breakfast?" I asked, smiling.
"I'm sorry babe, I have a day ahead of me full of meetings" she said.
"On a Saturday?" I asked.
"Sorry" she said.
"You have a good birthday, have fun. I'll see you Sunday night" she gave me a kiss on the cheek and left.
I tried to hold back my tears.
I went to my rooms and sat on the floor, crying.
I heard a knock at my door.
"Not now" I said, wiping my tears.
But they kept knocking.
I got up and opened the door but there was no one.
I went downstairs and as soon as I got to the living room, there was confetti thrown, and whistles.
"Happy Birthday!" my friends yelled.
I smiled.
"Thanks" I hugged them.
"We love you so much" Becca said.
"I love you guys too" I smiled, wanting to tear up.
"What's wrong?" Bethany asked.
"Nothing" I said, wiping my eye.
"Is it your mom?" Beverly asked.
"I should be used to it" I said.
"Well good for you, you have your sisters to be here for you anytime" Becca smiled.
I smiled.
"We have a reservation for breakfast at Tiffany's!" Beverly squealed.
"Thank God" I squealed.
"I haven't had that in forever" Bethany said.
"Well I'm gonna get ready, be right back" I said and went upstairs.
I got ready.

When we were ready to go, we went to my car.
Nate opened the door and we went off.
After breakfast, we went back to my house to get our things and head to the beach.
"Before we leave, we have presents to give you" Bethany said.
