"Miss, someone is waiting for you" the housekeeper told me.

My mom looked at me and I scrunched my eyebrows together.

"Is it one of my friends?" I asked and she shook her head no.

"Who is it Brooklyn?" and I shrugged.

"I'll go check" she said and I got a little nervous.

Who could it be? Angel?

If she sees him, she's going to freak out.

She then got a phone call and went upstairs.

I quickly got my bag and left.

It was Angel.

"What are you doing?" I asked, angrily.

"What?"

"If my mom sees you she's going to flip" I said and opened the door and there were petals on the seat with a sunflower and lilies boutique.

I was so surprised.

"Are those for me?" I smiled.

"No for your dog" he jokingly smiled and I rolled my eyes.

I playfully slap him and he hugged me.

"Just kidding" he kissed my cheek.

"Of course they're for you beautiful"

I blushed.

"These are my favorite, how'd you know?" I asked.

"I do my research" he said.

"Well let's go" I said.

"What's the rush?" he said as he got on.

He drove off.

"I can't be seen with a boy or date" I whispered.

"What?" he said.

And I explained to him everything.

"What are we going to do?" he asked.

"With?"

"Us"

"Us? There's no us"

"Oh" he said, dryly.

The rest of the ride was silent.

We got to school and got off.

"Why are you mad?" I asked.

"I'm not" he said.

I pulled him to me.

"Can you not be mad at me?" I smiled.

He put his arm around me.

"I could never be mad at you" he kissed my cheek.

As we walked to the picnic table, I made eye contact with Luke.
