"Can you go out with me later?" Angel asked me, as we were sitting down at the lunch table.
"Nope" I joked.
"Please"
"I said no" I smiled.
"How can I convince you?" he grabbed my hand.
I felt something in my stomach.
I cleared my throat.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Surprise" he said.
"Tell me or I won't go"
"Please"
"I'll think about" I smirked and he groaned.
"Is she always like this?" he asked the girls.
"You'll never meet someone more stubborn than Brook" Bethany and them laughed.
"But it's worth putting up with her, so don't give up" Beverly said and I smiled.
I looked at Bethany, Wesley was hugging her from behind and Beverly and Blake were laughing, looking at each other.
Becca huffed.
"I feel left out" she said.
"We need to look for a boyfriend for Becca" I said.
"No" she said and turned to look at Adam.
But Mia and Adam were sitting beside each other.
We all look confused.
They had notebooks and textbooks all over the desk.
"She's probably tutoring him" I said.
"Yeah, she's pretty smart" Beverly said.
But they were laughing.
Adam kissed her forehead.
Becca scoffed.
"Find out what's going on" Becca told me.
I scrunched my eyebrows.
"Are you nuts? I can't even look at her eyes without remembering what I did to her" I said.
She then got up and stormed off.
I groaned.
After lunch, I walked to Julian's locker.
"Hey Julian, I have to ask you something"
"Where's your little bodyguard to come beat me up" he said, without looking at me.
"What's going on with Adam and Mia?" I asked.
He shut his locker and turned to me.
"I'm not gonna tell you shit" he smirked and did a "mwuah" sound.
