After Bethany left in the morning, I went to my room and laid down.
I heard a knock and it was my mom.
I sat up.
"Hey baby" she smiled and gave her a weak smile.
"What's wrong?" she asked and she came and sat beside me.
She wrapped her arms around me.
"Beverly and Becca are fighting again" I told her.
"No wonder it was so quiet last night" she said.
"What's the problem now?" she asked.
"They're in love with the same guy. That he likes Beverly and that he likes Becca" I said.
"Of course. See why men are evil. See why I keep telling you to keep that promise? Men ruin everything" she said.
She was right.
I just sighed.
