two months later
We got off the plane and I looked for my mom but didn't see her.
I texted her but she never answered back so I guess she wasn't coming.
"Do you need a ride?" Beverly asked.
"Sure" I gave her a weak smile.
We then went home.
I opened the door and saw William.
"Hey! Why didn't you call me, I could've picked you up" he said.
"It's fine. I texted my mom but she didn't answer" I said.
"She's been gone for the summer" he said.
"Oh, she didn't tell me" I said.
He hugged me and picked me up.
"I've missed you" he said.
I laughed.
"I'm glad. It's good to be home" I said.
My bags were taken upstairs.
I went upstairs to my room and looked at my wrist.

And because we were kind of tipsy, I got another one.
I got it, thinking about Angel and Luke. They made me grow, showed me love.
next day
I had to go to the School of Design for some final paperwork, I was going to start next week.
Me and my friends met up at Starbucks.
I ordered a strawberry lemonade.
"So Becca, what happened to that french guy?" I asked, smirking.
She laughed.
"I have a boyfriend" she said.
"Une jamais raconte" I said, in french.
One never tells.
They laughed.
"So what are y'all going to major in?" I asked.
"I thinking of a surgeon" Beverly said.
"Oh wow, that's good" I said.
"I want to work at a famous magazine publisher" Becca said.
"Becca, you don't write about people, people write about you" Bethany said and we laughed.
"I was thinking like at W. Write about fashion events, or gossips" she said.
"I think that'll be perfect for you" I said.
"I'm nervous to start at a new school" Bethany said.
"Honestly same. We're still going to have Fridays to ourselves right?" I said.
"Duh, it's tradition" Beverly said and we smiled.
"Have you seen Luke?" Bethany asked.
Becca groaned.
"Why do you have to ruin the conversation Bethany" Becca said.
I laughed.
"I haven't heard from him. I don't even think he knows I left. Maybe it's for the best" I said, trying to fake a smile.
