When I got home, I saw my mom's car and another one.
I scrunched my eyebrows and quietly went inside.
I saw my mom and the man I had seen the other day, kissing.
"Mom?" I said and they quickly separated.
"Brooklyn, I can-" I cut her off.
"You are such a hypocrite. You even had the nerve to put me a man to follow me around so no guy can get near me. You are insane. You are a bad person" I said, my voice cracking.
"Brooklyn please" she said, her eyes watering.
She tried to grab my hand but I snatched them away from her.
I quickly went to my room.
I didn't know what to do, I had to process all of it.
I took deep breaths.

When I was done, I went downstairs and my mom was sitting at the table.
I rolled my eyes and tried to leave but she stopped me.
"Brooklyn can we talk please?" she said.
"I have nothing to say to you. You lied to me, mom. As if never being with me isn't enough" I said.

"Where's Beck? I'm ready to get out of here" I said.
