I was outside in one of the picnic tables for art.

We had a free period, and I decided to get out my sketchbook.

I had my interview in a month for the school of design and I had to have my portfolio with some sketches/ideas.

I started to draw a dress.

"Hey babe" I heard and Julian sat down beside me.

"Hi" I said and he forcedly kissed me.

I cleared my throat.

"When should prom be?" I asked him.

"In like three months" he said.

"Are you going to make me a poster, ask me in a cute way?" I asked him.

"Yeah babe, I don't do that shit" he laughed.

I rolled my eyes.

"I'll catch you later" he said and left.

"He's such a douche" I groaned.

"So you're dating him too?" I heard and I laughed.

I didn't even look up.

"Brooklyn" Luke said.

"You have two seconds to leave" I said.

He snatched the pencil away.

"Leave" I said, mad.

I then got up and started walking away.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me to him.

"You have something going on with Edwin and now Julian?"

"Luke what if I am? It's not your business okay? You have your girlfriend so worry about your own problems" I said.

"I'll leave her if you leave them" he whispered and grabbed my cheek.

"What?"

"Tell me to leave her and I will as long as you do the same" he said.

"Guess what? No. And I can't wait to tell Kendall that" I faked smiled and left.

After practice, I went home and had a crazy idea.

I started drawing a dress, adding details.

Later that night, I was receiving a facetime call from my friends.

"Heyy" we all said.

"So when are we starting prom planning? What should be the theme?" Bethany asked.

"In my head, I'm thinking simple. White, lots of spring vibes. Flowers, stars, lights" I said.

"I can actually imagine that" Beverly said.

"Okay, but the question is, when are we dress shopping?" Becca asked.

"Like a month before" Bethany said.

"I think I'm going to make my own dress" I said.

"You what?" Becca said.

"I'm going to be risky and try to make it. It'll be my first big project and if it comes out good, I can actually show that for my interview" I said.

"That sounds like a fun idea" Bethany said.

"I'm going to start making it soon" I said.

"Is Julian going to ask you?" Bethany wiggled her eyebrows and I laughed.

"His douche self told me 'I don't do that shit'" I said, mocking him.

"Okay what an asshole, why are you even with him?" Becca asked.

"My mom" I whispered.

"There you go, following orders from your mom again. Deciding for you" Beverly said.

"It's not that easy to get out of their grips" Becca whispered.

"You're right, I'm sorry" Beverly said.

The next day, after practice, I went to some fabric store.

I picked out some colors that were so beautiful and some other items.

I grabbed a kit and some other tools.

"Let's knock this bitch out" I said.
