We were on our way back to New York.

I was scrolling through the pictures we took at Disney.

I tried my best to act happy but Luke was on my mind.

He was with Kendall the whole time but my friends separated them far away from us.

I then received a text.

Hey, I'm looking for you. Where are you?

It was from Samuel.

I didn't want to say another goodbye.

I ignored it and closed my eyes.

I heard a knock on the door.

It was my mom, she smiled.

"You look so beautiful" she hugged me.

"Thank you" I smiled.

"I have something for you" she said and gave me a box.

I opened it and there was a thin gold chain with Montgomery engraved.

"It's so beautiful. Thanks" I hugged her.

"Just wanted you to never forget who you are, where you came from. You are beautiful and strong" she smiled.

I kissed her cheek.

"I'm going to tell Nate to bring the car" she said and left.

I grabbed my phone and then walked to see my cap and gown on my bed.

I started tearing up, today is the day. Today is when high school ends, the last time me and friends walk through the walls, giving glares and laughing together.

I put on my gown and walked downstairs.

My dad was waiting on the couch with William.

My dad saw me and smiled at me.

"You look amazing" he said and hugged me.

William then hugged me.

"Are you ready?" my mom asked and I nodded.

We went to the car and left.

When we got there, I went to go sit down.

The principle started speaking and then the mayor.

Our names started being called to get our diploma.

"Brooklyn Montgomery"

Our names were done being called.
